A 10 minute cycle ride from the dreaming spires of Oxford and a stone's throw from the JR hospital and the shops and cafés of Headington. A comfortable double room in a characterful semi-detached house, shared with its owner, Catriona.

The space
Homely, characterful space with (fake!) oak floors. Your room will be a spacious double with a comfy bed and a large window with a black out blind for a really good nights sleep! The house is semi detached, with a good sized kitchen and living areas, which you'll be more than welcome to use.

Guest access
You'll have access to the living areas and the garden.

During your stay
Catriona works full time as a midwife, so is often out of the house, delivering babies, or when not delivering babies, dancing or helping with a local charity. She'll be happy to chat when she's around!

Other things to note
As with many places in Oxford, on street parking is only available between 5pm-9am Monday to Friday, but there is free parking all day Saturday and Sunday.

Neighborhood highlights

Beautifully close to central Oxford and the hospital and amenities of Oxford. Close to some lovely historic pubs and not too far from the river for some punting! Or, 3 mins to A&E if that's more your thing. It's quiet but on central bus routes and really easy to get around.

I'm a (part time) vegetarian artist, moonlighting as a midwife. Out of work I love to dance, although it's with more enthusiasm than finesse and I certainly won't be on Strictly Come Dancing any time soon. I've lived in Oxford for 12 years and love the city, although I'm hopeless with directions... I can draw a nice little map though! I'm trained in acupuncture and cranial sacral therapy. I'm into health and fitness and do like to start the morning with a yoga sun-salutation and a green juice...
