Where you’ll be

Civitella Marittima, Toscana, Italy

Civitella Paganico is a collection of villages located in the valley of the Ombrone river, in southern Tuscany and Civitella Marittima is the main town of this fascinating area. The village is located on the top of a hill overlooking the Maremma plain. It boasts medieval walls built on the remains of pre-existing Etruscan walls. Only one of the original doors remains and is called Porta Piccina. Within the religious architecture we can mention the Church of Santa Maria in Montibus, which is the parish church of the village; the Oratorio della Misericordia, built in the 16th century and completely restored in the 18th century; the Church of San Materno, just outside the village and dating back to 1143.

My name is Gianna and I am from Padova. During my travels, I am passionate about Tuscany and decided to buy myself a small retreat to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Tuscan countryside. Since I wasn't always able to go there, I decided to share my home with others to share my passion for this region.
