This is the special event end of the city. On a Saturday morning you'll feel like you've woken up in the coolest part of the city as everyone converges on the Harvest Market. Also next door is the Vintage Red Fox collectables store and Oak Tree Cafe. Then across the road is City Park (see the Macaque monkeys and special events as below) and the Albert Hall.

City Park has many special event weekends such as Festivale, Mona Foma, Symphony Under the Stars, Launceston Cycling Classic and Carols, so be sure to book early for those weekends. Also during AFL days, it's a walk directly down our street to the stadium. The atmosphere is all around, yet again it's peaceful once you step inside.
