Casa Balam is a private apartment inside a property located barely 10 minutes from Centro Histórico, Internacional Convention Center, Gran Museo Maya and 30 minutes away from the Progreso Beach and Dzilbilchaltun Mayan ruins. Also is located a block away from the traditional Cookie factory "Galletera Donde" and the scent of fresh cookies can be tasted on the evenings while chilling in the patio or walking on the safe and quiet traditional neighborhood, or staying home enjoying a movie or a beer.

The neighborhood is pretty quiet and peaceful. It's located half a block from one of the majors hospitals and surveillance is pretty constant and safe also due to its strategic location you can go virtually anywhere pretty easily. Shopping malls, bars, sports centers, local traditional food business and plenty of taxi's an Ubers over the area.
