Gourmet grocery and liquor store just blocks away. Free secure off street parking, wifi, sleeps 4 plus infant, pet friendly! No need to message to ask if your can bring you pet. The answer is yes. :)

The space
This historic home is the perfect balance of old world charm and modern day comforts. It is within walking distance of many restaurants, but also has all the kitchen supplies one would need for a great at home family meal.

A crib and 2 twin beds make this place perfect for families AND we welcome your pets! The house also has games and books available for play.

There is a casita that is also an airBNB and a studio apartment, where the caretaker, Lynn lives on the property. Total parking for 4, 2 allocated for you.

Guest access
2 bedroom house and shared outdoor patio space. Outdoor quiet hours 10pm-8am.

Other things to note
This historic home features a tub/shower that was once a horse trough! It is about 18" deep and may be problematic of elderly or those who are not as able bodied to get in and out of.

*The oven is out of commission as of now - sorry for any inconvenience!*

This house is in the historic section of downtown; charming dirt roads and rambling adobe houses just minutes away great dining, shopping and museums. 15 minutes in one direction takes you to the Plaza with its museums and Native Americans selling their wares under the portal as they have for over 100 years. 15 minutes in another direction takes you to the famous Canyon Road with it's galleries. A 15-minute walk in another direction takes you past Santa Fe’s prized Lady of Guadalupe statue and to the very contemporary Railyard District, home to Santa Fe’s wonderful Farmer’s Market, the Railrunner train station and the new Violet Crown cinema, cafe and bar.

Plan to do some skiing or hiking? You're just a 15 minute drive from the Santa Fe Ski Basin and National Forest. (don't miss the amazing Ten Thousand Waves spa on your way back down the mountain!) And for you culture lovers - Santa Fe hosts a world famous outdoor Opera; International Indian, Spanish & Folk Art Markets; Dance/Theater & Music performances equal to much larger cities; even Art movie houses as well as standard venues. One of my most favorite things to do is take a drive in rural New Mexico. It will make you feel like you have gone to another country.

I am a 45 year old native of Santa Fe and a career pre-hospital Emergency Medical Services Nurse. I work for a local Med-Evac Helicopter service and an international air ambulance. My husband is an Emergency Dept doctor and together we own and operate a private duty home care business that supplies Nurses aides to take care of the elderly in their homes. In addition (if that wasn't enough) we have 4 children we love to spend time with. The casita we host guests at is on a property where we have our business and had traditionally been used for only friends and family. We started renting it this year knowing what a great location it was and to offer a nicer, better value option than a hotel room. Hosting though Air Band B had been great and has restored my faith in strangers. Our guests have been nothing but easy to work with and have treated our casita respectfully and consistently left our place neat and clean with NO problems! We look forward to being guests of other hosts at some point in the future (maybe when grandma comes to stay with the kids!)
