Sissi and her husband Bernard run this little and very nice B&B from their house in the beautiful Ponta do Sol. The B&B offers a very nice breakfast in the mourning. From the village of Ponta do Sol you can do a few very nice hikes, including the one to neighboring Fontainhas, named one of the three villages in the world with the most beautiful view!

I'm 39 years old, and have been hosting on Airbnb since January of 2014. I saw hosting as a way to make a (partial) living when I moved from the Netherlands to Cabo Verde in pursuit of a different life.
Hosting on Airbnb helped me to create Sonvela Arte, which was the largest Street Art project of its kind back in 2014/2015. Today I'm only hosting my two friends' B&B's: Vannilla in Mindelo (São Vicente) and Sissi's place in Ponta do Sol (Santo Antão).
I am Cape Verde's first proud member of Pack for a Purpose, and I continue to support a few local projects trough my organization called Sonvela. Since I moved on from hosting guests myself and my work in tourism, I'm working on ways to prepare Cabo Verde for the digital future that awaits us. If you're a remote worker I'd love to hear from you, wherever you decide to book! :)
