Wellsprings is a beautiful 40 acre eco-friendly retreat farm. A wonderful, healing place for individuals or small groups. Rent 1 to 3 separate, lovely, unique cabins or even the whole farm.

Wind Rise hermitage has a loft and spectacular sunrise and sunsets.

Wonderful views & space. The Wellness Center is great place to gather with kitchenette, sauna, library, chapel, bathroom/shower. Wellsprings has a labyrinth in the native prairie, a small lake for swimming/boating & walking paths.

The space
There are 3 individual and separate cabins/hermitages. This reservation is for Wind Rise which has a single upper loft with windows facing south, a single bed, trundle and a hammock in the 4 season porch. It has great views to all directions and gets wonderful sunrise and sunsets. It has an electric fireplace, writing desk and comfy swivel rocker. For groups larger than 6 or renting the whole farm please contact us directly.

All cabins are self-catering with environmentally friendly compost toilets. Each include microwave, coffeemaker, small refrigerator, hot plate, dishes, cookware, linens, blankets, towels, coffee/tea etc. They each have a fireplace and baseboard heat for winter and air conditioner and fans for summer. The only thing one needs to bring is personal items and food for your stay.

During Covid we have needed to change different protocols. We are not serving any food and we ask guests to wear masks in the shared space of the Wellness Center. The shower, sauna, massage room and library are all in the Wellness Center. Upon arrival guests are typically greeted keeping social distance then you can go directly to their cabin/hermitage. There will be a thermal jug of water for your use since there is no running water in the cabins themselves.

There is no wifi in the cabins/hermitages but there is a space in the "beehive" near the farmhouse that guests can use if they need to connect.

The cabins/hermitages are all accessible by car and are in close walking distance of the Wellness Center, the central building. Check out our website.

Guest access
Walking trails through woods, the lake with assorted paddle boats, canoes, paddle board and kayak, a fire pit for bonfires, the 7 circuit labyrinth in the prairie and all amenities in the Wellness Center including kitchen, library, chapel, sauna and massage (appointments made separately). Guests can visit the barn and the chickens, goats, cats if desired.

Other things to note
There is a fire pit for bonfires, hammocks in two of the hermitages/cabins and picnic tables and swinging chairs/swings through out the property.

We love to travel and have experienced amazing hospitality all over the world. We value education, open mindedness and respect for the land. We have a broad, inclusive sense of spirituality. All are welcome! We think of the farm as being part of a sacred earth community; a sanctuary of sorts for different species, wildlife and people.

During your stay
As hosts we often greet guests and do a short tour of the property. But the cabins/hermitages are independent of one another and the farmhouse so there is a great deal of privacy and quiet. We can accommodate groups larger than 6 for birthdays or other events but please contact us directly by visiting our website since the pricing schedule does not apply. Thank you.
