Your spacious house (adjacent to us) has a private entrance and 5 bedrooms, sleeps 12, multi families welcome! Located in a residential area (no parties), with a 9pm quiet hour. Shared entryway patio includes bbq & table, cedar sauna & cold shower!

Treed yard, fire pit, patio, a games room pool table, and shuffle board.

Nestled within the Gatineau hills, we are walking distance to the heart of Old Chelsea village, and a 10 minutes drive to Ottawa or the charming village of Wakefield.

The space
Your accommodations are spacious, sparkling clean, private, and peaceful. An artsy home away from home, tucked in the forest with lovely wood, vaulted ceilings, original art, fine art prints and photography.

The house includes five, (sleeping 12 comfortably) private, locking bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven/stove, living room, library/chess area, dining room with dining table for 8-10, various hang out nooks, 2.5 bathrooms, and a private entrance.

The building also hosts games and TV room: large professional pool table, darts board and a uniquely fun shuffle board.

Tons of storage for sports equipment, and we offer a ski wax room in the winter, and a bike storage/cleaning/tuning area and tools.

Guest access
You will have easy access to the entire building, through the lockbox on the front right hand door, which adjoins to our home.

Your space is totally private.

Feel free to unload up by the entrance, your door is on the right. Please park down in the lower parking area.

Other things to note
Our comfortable, full kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, oven/stove, dishwasher, cast iron pots, pans, cooking tools, full dinnerware, serving , bodum, electric kettle, also a giant coffee maker, etc...everything you will need for cooking, baking and serving on our long, handmade dining table.

Fresh delicious, clean, well water straight out of the taps and shower, no need to bring bottled water!

You can have a hike or bike after breakfast and coffee is town, then an afternoon at the spa, always having a beautiful, peaceful space nearby as home base...

Trevor has spent a lifetime outdoors. He has been mountain bike racing for a quarter century, competing in many 24 hour races and raced three times in a 7 Day staged international mountain bike race. He is also an avid nordic skier racer, and has achieved permanent bib status in the Canadian Ski Marathon. Trevor loves to be outside and loves seeing people enjoying the outdoors. After spending 20 years skiing and painting in western Canada in Whistler, Jasper and Revelstoke, Alisha is enjoying living in the Gatineau hills again. A former professional CSIA Level 3 ski instructor, 2003 Canadian Freeskiing champion and ski cross racer, she draws from her explorations in nature for her original oil paintings. You will see many scenes of the Gatineau park, as well as Western Canada, on the walls in the BnB.
