The space
We're a small hostel (just three floors high, and a rooftop bar!), and would love to do the best we can for you to have a great stay in Mandalay! All of our beds come with privacy curtains, a locker, night light and international sockets. Towels and breakfast are included in the room rates, and we provide a range of additional services such as tours, bike rental, laundry, etc for an affordable additional charge.

Located right in the heart of Mandalay, on the South Wall of the Mandalay Palace, Mansion Hostels is within walking distance to the main attractions of the city - the Palace, Mandalay Hill and the surrounding pagodas, Mandalay Marionettes Show, etc. We are a 15 min walk from the train station, and are surrounding by restaurants, convenience stores, banks and the hospital.

We are two lady travellers in our twenties from Singapore who have always enjoyed staying in hostels on our travels in the past, and truly believe that comfort should not be compromised while travelling on a budget. After graduating from college, we decided to come to Myanmar – a country that we both fell in love with. And so the idea for Mansion Hostels was born! Looking back at the things we both loved (and didn’t like as much) in other hostels all around the world, we put together a boutique capsule hostel right in the heart of Mandalay, Myanmar.
