We have a ground floor room in a Family home with a sea view. The room consists of a king size bed, table and chairs and tea and coffee facilities with optional travel cot. Upstairs we have a shower room where we will supply towels, but please bring your own toiletries. We have a selection of cereals available for breakfast. We are situated right on the NC500 route with easy access to lots of tourist attractions and wildlife spotting as well as the occasional display of the Northern Lights!

The space
We are a Family home situated right on the NC500. Our house faces out to the sea at the front and Farmland and moutains from the sides and back. Although on a main road and next to a working farm it is relatively quiet especially at night.

We are central to lots of tourist spots. We have the Fairy Trail and Deer Park at Latheron Wheel, the Beautiful Coast and Castle at Dunbeath, Picturesque Harbour of Lybster, and then if you fancy driving a little further we are only about 40 mins from John o Groats where you can get spectacular views of the Orkney Islands.
Caithness also has some stunning sandy beaches and quiet remote rocky coves to explore. There really is something for everyone.

Guest access
We have a washing machine and tumble drier in our kitchen. If you require any washing doing please ask.

We also have a small outdoor seating area at the front of the house you are welcome to use.

Other things to note
As mentioned, we are foremost a family home and have 2 young boys, so there may be a degree of noise as would be expected in a Family home, but we will endeavour to keep this to a minimum.

We do have 2 large dogs on sight that may bark on your arrival as they don't know you but will settle down. Although they are really big softies please do not approach them. They are housed in their own shelter so you will otherwise not come in contact with them.

We also have pet ducks! And on occasion have fresh duck eggs for sale. If you are interested please just let us know and we will get you some!
