Bayside Glamping offers a unique glamping experience in Marion Bay, SA, on the door step of the gorgeous Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park.

We also has a Tiny House that can be found on a separate listing.

Our glamping setup is only for 2 people, and perfect for couple’s getaways, or two friends wanting to relax near the beach together.

Our setup is completely unique, as its made of mostly recycled timber to add to it's exclusive charm.

Bayside consists of a 5 metre wide, double door bell tent, on a deck with an outdoor kitchen and indoor bathroom, all with hot water and electricity.

The site was built at the back of my dad’s block, nestled amongst the trees. It is completely private, and you’ll find it hard to leave your little oasis after your relaxing visit.

The tent:

Inside the generously sized tent, is a bed with a pillow-top mattress, complete with luxurious bedding from Eco Downunder, where you’ll have the perfect night’s sleep… drifting off to the sound of waves crashing in the background.

The tent is lit by bedside lamps at night, and has a variety of battery operated candles to set the mood. A fan is also included.

The kitchen:

The outdoor kitchen has a bar fridge, gas BBQ with hot plate and grill plate, plates, cups, platters, mugs, glasses (drinking, wine & champagne), small coffee plunger, utensils and cutlery.

The kitchen also has oil and papertowel.

The bathroom:

The fully indoor bathroom has a hot shower, vanity and flushing toilet.

The deck:

The large deck has a dining area and deck chairs for catching some rays. The deck area is lit up at night by fairy lights and solar lanterns, to add to the magical atmosphere.

Marion Bay is a gorgeous small seaside country town, on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula. Marion Bay is on the door step of Innes National Park. The Park is a beautiful natural sanctuary full of Australia's best beaches, and is ideal for swimming, surfing, fishing, bush walks and observing the wildlife - we can nearly guarantee that you'll see a kangaroo and emu on your visit! Have a look on the Park's website for further information.

Marion Bay has two main beaches; Willyama know for the SS Willyama ship wreck, which is literally a 3 minute walk from the site, and Penguin Point, a vast beach leading to the Marion Bay jetty, which is great for squidding at night.

The town has a great cafe, called Beach Break; serving breakfast and lunch, and coffee, cakes and homemade pies. We have partnered with Beach Break to offer you two varieties of picnic hampers!

The Marion Bay Tavern is the only pub in the town, and serves lunch and dinner including wood fire pizzas, and has a bottle shop.

The Marion Bay General Store has petrol, take away food and supplies such as milk and bread.

Studio Surf showcases local artist’s Jason’s coastal masterpieces, and has a café selling coffee and homemade cakes.

Locally there is also MBC Foods; selling local salt products and offering catering for special occasions, George’s Curries and Inland Sea; a seafood restaurant outside of Warooka.

I run our small business with my partner Luke, and now our little baby; Tasman.. and still with the help of my handy dad George!

Bayside Glamping was the brainchild of my dad & I. We wanted to provide accommodation with a point of difference – specifically for romantic getaways, where we can share this beautiful patch of coastline with people from all over the country. I've always had the best relationship with my dad, but our little project has made us even closer :)

I live with my dad in his house behind the site. Dad and myself are happy to assist with any local knowledge if you’d like it, otherwise you’ll be completely private in your glamping oasis, with no interaction at all.
