This working cattle farm, located on 36 acres with a panoramic view of the New Hampshire countryside, is adjacent to miles of trails for hiking, skiing or snowshoes. Stay the night and you'll want to stay forever at this magical farm on the hill. We are sorry but the hot tub jets may not work.

The apartment has a full private kitchen with a dishwasher for you to prepare your meals. Breakfast is not provided.

There is a minimum $30 fee for the first pet and $20 for each additional pet.

The space
Miles Smith Farm was founded in the 1830's by Miles Smith who, with his wife and daughters, are buried in the farm cemetery. Our Scottish Highlander cattle are so tame we ride them. You can too!

And we have a special pig, Tazzy, who will entertain you and your family by rolling over to have her belly scratched. Tazzy and her roommate Penny live in the barnyard and welcome you to visit with them there.

A full kitchen with a dishwasher is included. Our Solar Farm Store is located on the farm (next to the barn) for some fantastic grass-fed beef, pastured pork and lamb and many other locally produced items. We don't sell alcohol, so bring your own wine or beer.

The downstairs bathroom has a champagne tub and shower, while the upstairs bath is a private bath with shower, off the master bedroom. The apartment is private from the main house.

We have miles and miles of trails for snowshoeing in the winter and hiking in the summer. If you want to snowshoe let us know. We'll rent you some gear.

We have Xfinity cable TV in the living area and another TV with a VCR player in the bedroom with single beds. We have a selection of children's VCR tapes.

A propane grill is available for rent ($10 one time fee). Let us know if you would like to use it while you stay.

Guest access
Guests may wander around the farm and, for a small fee, participate in farm activities such as cow riding, horseback riding or helping with farm chores.

We have a Farm Store where guests can purchase locally sourced groceries including meat that was raised on the farm. Depending on the season we often have eggs, yogurt, vegetables, ice cream, and meat. All of it is local!

Guests will check in and check out at the Farm Store. There is a minimum $30 pet fee ($20 for each additional pet), which can be paid in the farm store. All pets must be leashed while outside.

Other things to note
We offer you the experience of living on a working farm just like your parents or grandparents place.

There is a minimum $30 fee for the first pet and $20 for each additional pet. We will have to inspect the apartment for any pet damage before you leave and might have to charge an additional cleaning fee.
