The space
The Back Cottage at Grassroots is located at the back of the property in lavish greenery with a small veranda, a small kitchen, an inside bathroom with a shower, and an outside shower where you can watch the stars at night.

A peaceful, private, quiet environment where guests can chill or interact with friendly Jamaicans.

The beach is a 10 minute walk to swim, or watch the sunset, or purchase fresh, local fish. There are a few restaurants and a market in Oracabessa, and many diverse attractions and restaurents in nearby Ocho Rios, a half hour drive. Noel Coward's Firefly is also nearby, with its spectacular views.

There are inexpensive local taxis and buses just outside the gate.

Grassroots offers an authentic Jamaican experience.
