NEW - The renovated and brand new furnished studio is 400 meters from the beach and 100 meters from the village center. Enjoy a beautiful location near beach entrance De Seinpost, which leads directly to a nice beach tent. Complete, modern and cozy studio. Callantsoog! One of the oldest and most beautiful seaside resorts in the Netherlands with a very cosy center. Here are many shops, terraces and restaurants. Supermarket open 7 days a week from 08: 00 to 22: 00! In summer fairs. Most shops are open all year round on Sundays, so there is a cozy atmosphere throughout the year.

High dunes separate the village from the lovely beach. The Blue Flag has been flying on the beach for many years, a recognition of the European Union for its clean and safe beach. Two beach pavilions are open all year round, so that you can also warm up outside the summer after a fresh beach walk with a cup of steaming chocolate milk. From April to October, a total of 6 beach pavilions have been opened. There are regular live performances in the beach pavilions. What could be more fun than enjoying music and good food on the beach?

Between 1 October and 1 April, dogs are allowed loose on the beach all day. After 1 April, dogs may only be unhooked between 7 pm and 9 am, and of course they are always allowed on the leash.

Near Callantsoog are the beautiful coastal villages of Julianadorp aan Zee, Groote Keeten, Schoorl, Petten, Egmond aan Zee and Bergen aan Zee. But Alkmaar, Schagen and Den Helder are also close by car or easy to reach by public transport. Beautiful museums, exhibitions, events, playgrounds, cinema, steam train, markets, boat trip wadden explorer, etc.

Familie, gezelligheid, koken, lezen, wandelen en onze Labradors vormen de rode draad in mijn leven! Een wens was nog om dicht bij de zee te wonen. Die wens is vervuld, vanuit het zuidelijkste puntje van Limburg zijn wij (mijn man Hans en ik) in 2017 verhuisd naar Callantsoog. Een lief huis zo dicht bij de zee, die kans hebben we met beide handen aangepakt. Het is hier heerlijk !
