Our farm is close to Great Ocean Road Beaches, National Parks and Coastal towns such as Torquay, Anglesea and Barwon Heads. The tiny house created on the truck is an architectual delight. It is quite unique. Blue truck is situated on our beautiful biodynamic working farm with views of the green hills, creek and wetland. Horses, cows, ducks and chooks roam around and you are nestled in a peaceful tranquil wonderland of nature at it's best. My place is perfect for couples and families (with kids).

The space
Beautifully designed using a combination of recycled timber, windows, doors, some stain glass and pine. The studio truck has 3 lofts, one with queen size bed and two lofts have a single mattress suitable for 2 children. There is also room in living area for another mattress. Complete with kitchen, stove, fridge and sink and cosy living area which looks out towards the wetland and creek. All utensils and linen are supplied. Hidden on the verandah is a compost toilet. There is also an outside toilet 50mts away and full bathroom with shower and laundry trough, and baby bath. To get hot water simply boil kettle on gas stove or pot belly. A bbq is available for outside cooking. The truck is powered by solar panels and mains electricity. Extremely efficient Potbelly stove and dry wood provided which makes it really cosy in the winter. Also a little electric heater

We are in farmland, and all around us is farms. The land is undulating and slopes down to Thompsons Creek. The Freshwater Creek Steiner School is next door. Common Ground project Italian restaurant is walking distance( you need to book) and so is the Freshwater Creek Cake shop, famous for it's cream sponges!

I'm a mother of 2 grown up girls who enjoys retired life on my biodynamic farm. I'm an environmentalist, and a member of local Landcare, land for wildlife, the biodynamic gardener's association, and society for rare domestic breeds. I also support the neighbouring Freshwater Creek Steiner School. Animals on my farm include horses, cows, ducks, chooks and dogs. We grow a lot of our own food, vegetables, fruit, eggs and meat. I love country life and love to share this peaceful environment with my guests.

During your stay

We like to take our guests for a tour of amenities and farm animals if you wish. I am nearly always here to assist my guests with anything you may need, or something you may have forgotten. If i am not home i am available by telephone.
