Wonderful treetop apartment! Has a great kitchen for cooking, and is right in the heart of Springdale. Beautiful sprawling gardens, BBQ and amazing views!! Access to Washer and Dryer, firepit, gardens, alcoves and picnic areas.

Other things to note
Please note that this property is located in a valley almost completely surrounded in tall hillsides, steep slopes and 2000-4000 foot cliffs and peaks that rise above the valley floor creating stunning views, but which can often hinder internet connection. Not only because of the obstructions, but also because the canyon has temperature inversions in the morning and evening, as rock and air temperatures heat up and cool down at different rates, causing breezes that can swing to gusts in intensity that may throw of dishes and other equipment.

We also have incredibly spectacular storms and thunder showers here on special occasions which can also wreak havoc on internet service and create power outages and cause flash flooding and water running around the property. If water accumulates around the unit, please exercise caution.

If power outages occur or you experience internet issues, please be patient and let us know as soon as possible so we may solve issues, provide anything you might need and give support.

The usual fixes often help with internet issues and we will do everything possible within our power to keep you connected. Meanwhile, those breezes can be remarkably soothing and cooling on warm summer days! And the storms are very exciting and can create tremendous beauty in the canyon like purple skies with incredible cloud structure, deep saturated color in the rock, red glow, and ephemeral water falls that tumble over the cliff faces.

Close proximity to park entrance, shuttle stops, Soul Foods grocery, Coffee and gift shops, hiking, walking and bike paths, dining and more!
There is a temperature inversion, due to the rocks and air having different heating and cooling rates, almost daily here in the mornings and evenings that creates breezes and often gusts. It cools everything down in the evening and can feel wonderful! This does, however, make it almost impossible to always have the decks, lawns, patios, and other outdoor areas completely free of pinecones, leaves, seeds, and other things...We hope you're understanding and see this as just a part of the Zion experience!

Hello, I am Mavis. My name is the same as that for a small bird. I love people and flowers. My friendship garden reflects the many people who have shared it with me. I have nine children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. When the last of my children went to school, I went as well, and worked as a librarian there and special needs teacher for many years. When I finally retired, the school district gave me a beautiful metal sculpture rendition of me with branches outspread, deep roots and flowers. This is truly a treasured gift as it really depicts my life's (Website hidden by Airbnb) build deep roots that provide a firm foundation of love, to have my arms reaching out for loftier heights and the joy and happiness it brings, and the flowers that are the lovely reward of sowing good seeds in a fertile place, tending them with care, and enjoying the beauty of their harvest. My late husband, J.R. built the house, the arbors, the trellises, fences, put in rock work and placed the stones to support and beautify the yard. I look forward to meeting you and letting you share my gardens, if you like, and becoming new friends. Now, I have a daughter Melanie, and a son, Richard, helping me to maintain my home, and the Airbnb, but I still do a lot of the work myself! Please come and visit.
