Description

The space

Mi casa es su casa. Make yourself at home! I think it's a great place to relax, make plans, listen to music, make breakfast, create art, watch TV, or whatever your heart desires!

Guest access

You have exclusive use of the entire apartment. There is coin-operated laundry in the hallways outside apartment. I have a bike + lock for you to use while you're here! There are keys for you so you come and go as you please.

Interaction with guests

I am friendly and available for any assistance you need! Otherwise I am doing my thing, and/or out exploring :)

The neighborhood

The West Bank neighborhood is known for a bohemian vibe (picture Bob Dylan hanging out around here) and an international flavor. Ethiopian and Somalian restaurants abound! West Bank has everything: famous hot-dog place, great Chinese bakery, edgy Hard Times Cafe, coffeeshops, shopping, dive bars, music and theater venues, and more! Close to the river for great hiking, close to bike trails for a short or long tour of the area!

Getting around

Parking is tricky around here. I can help out with a street-use parking pass. Public transit: blue line light rail is two blocks away, green line is only one block away! I also have a bike + lock for you to use for free while you're here!

Other things to note

The small bedroom has a twin-size bed and is located in the interior of the apartment. A fixed window looks from the bedroom into the kitchen high up on the wall. The large bedroom has a queen-size bed.

Marie has a darling apartment - tons of character and charm, very comfortable, easy walk to the train and near several restaurants and other great places to explore. Even though she was not able to meet us in person, her directions were great and she responded quickly to questions.

Marie was amazing! Even not getting to meet her she was incredibly easy to get a hold of. She left an extra bike in the apartment so that my friend and I could both get around the city. The apartment and the neighborhood are both super cool. The transit stops are very close by. I loved the neon lights and the office space. It was really a super cool place that I would recommend to anyone.

Had a great stay at Marie's place. Despite missing each other while I was there. She (and her sister) made sure I was all set getting into the place and made sure I knew I was welcome to the bike to use too. The place was very convenient for my stay and I loved the artistic vibe and decor of the apartment too. I hope to be back!
