Experience off-the-grid living in this private escape just 4kms from Whale Bay, & 12kms from Raglan. Romantic little cottage set high on our 35 acre property, looking out over the tree tops to the coast. Snuggle up in the big comfy bed, and have a hot bath on the deck. This cute cabin has everything you need for a relaxed getaway. It's an escape from the everyday. Perfect for yo, people who want to unplug & get back to nature

LoveNest Cottage is set high on our 35 acre property and it has large, expansive views over the treetops, and a peep of the coast and ocean. It’s surrounded by native trees and pine trees, as well as lots of bird life. It’s for young romantics (at heart), and adventurous types who want a special experience, not just accommodation.

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION FULLY BEFORE BOOKING.

Inside there is:
•A small, fully equipped kitchen with sink and gas cooktop.
•A dining space with candles for romantic dinners
•A queen-sized bed/couch for snuggling with luxury bed linen for a restful sleep at night time. We put two duvets on the bed for winter so it’s extra warm and snugly.
•Plenty of solar powered LED lights, and a gas heater for chilly nights (please note the cottage is fully insulated).
•A chilly bin (Cool Stool) to help keep your food and drinks cold.
•A small, clean bathroom with hot shower and toilet is in a separate room connected under the same roof.

Outside, there is:
•A large double deck that pushes out into the pine forest, with a hot bath, a small table, and deck chairs, for dining and relaxing.
•A BBQ for outdoor cooking.

We supply:
•Morning Glory organic coffee, tea, powdered milk and sugar, and olive oil
•All bed linen, towels, dish cloths, and cleaning products.
•Ecostore Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash
•Candles, magazines and books.
•Bug spray to keep the bugs away.
•A detox from technology, if you choose to, there is no mobile coverage at the cottage (you can connect to WIFI at some spots from the property).
•A UE Bluetooth speaker to listen to your downloaded tunes.

ADVENTUROUS THINGS:
There are lots of adventurous things you can do whilst with us and we've left a few ideas for you in the cottage. One of these things is a beautiful bush/stream walk (on our property) down towards the cliff/ocean, to a huge old Puriri tree where you can have a picnic. You’ll walk through the field, then through native bush and down to the stream, past a waterfall and then to the Picnic tree. The walk will take you 15 to 20 mins to get there and it’s a moderate to difficult level with downhill/uphill sections. If you want to do this then please bring some suitable walking shoes.

We are located just 4kms from Raglan's famous surf breaks; Manu Bay, Whale Bay and Indicators. Te Toto Gorge is just up the road. There are also some beautiful bush walks on our land and also just down the road.
