At the edge of the Chugach National Park, we often enjoy forest visitors including moose, rabbits, lynx and the occasional bear, especially in the early morning hours. If you are lucky, these can be viewed from the large picture windows, or cabin deck. The Alaska Zoo is, otherwise, just down the hill.
