Unique 45ft Shipping Container holiday let with a view from the decking of St Michael's Mount in Penzance.

Nestled in the sleepy village of Madron the let is a short distance from beautiful beaches and picturesque towns.

The space
The Container is set on one level with a private decking and garden space. There is one double bedroom, a sofa bed within the living area and a raised bed hidden behind a curtain to allow for up to five guests. There is also a futon for guests who would like a separate sleeping place from the sofa bed.

There are full amenities and an entire kitchen space for easy cooking and socialising. There is a hot tub on the decking for guests as well.

The container boasts a view of St Michael's Mount. It is important to note that the Mount and glorious bay are completely visible from the decking of the Container. However, within the last year, the owners of the field in front erected a wooden fence which has obstructed some of the views whilst sat down inside the Container (this fence can be seen in the main picture of the Container listing). Please do note in the reviews though that this has not affected guests’ stay and they’ve loved it all the same. They especially have loved the addition of the hot tub from which you can gaze at the Mount still. Our Container is very popular with repeat guests which is the highest compliment.

It is quietly nestled within the village of Madron, allowing for complete privacy whilst providing ease of access to Penzance.

Madron is a beautiful and quaint village, there are walks to a wishing well and standing stones. There is a children's park area and large football field to stretch your legs in and local pubs just a stone throw away.

It is only a couple of minutes outside Penzance by car and is in close proximity to St Ives, Lands End, Porthcurno and Mousehole.

I’m an English Teacher. I’m originally from West Yorkshire but fell in love with Cornwall during family holidays and I moved to the South West to attend university and never left! I have two young children and my fiancé and I try to do small budget breaks with our little family when we can. I understand that great customer service, feedback and thoughtful touches are part of what makes a perfect holiday for families, couples, friends and individuals. I run three Airbnb lets with the help of my parents who live within close proximity of each holiday dwelling. We are lucky enough to host a cottage, a full flat and a converted shipping container all of which overlook St Michaels Mount. Please don’t hesitate to message with any queries.
