The space

Pomp Island is a beautiful 37 acre island with a 3-bedroom log cabin where you can spend your vacation enjoying nature on the sea shore and in the woods.

Come explore the shoreline and woods of Pomp. If you are quiet, you will see deer and a variety of birds including hawks and bald eagles. Greet the lobster men and women as they haul their traps around the island, and enjoy sunsets over Cadillac Mountain from the front porch.

Rustic and wonderful! Pomp is stunningly beautiful and truly remote - when you're on the island, it's just you, gorgeous views, and the passing lobster boats. Susan's husband, Ted, met us at the public boat launch, strapped our kayaks to the back of his boat and brought us across…

We live in Gloucester MA but have spent our summers in Beals for over thirty years. Down East Me is a wonderful place to enjoy the ocean, woods and wildlife .
