Cove, near Kilcreggan, is a small village on the SW of the Rosneath Peninsula on the east shore of Loch Long 16 miles outside Helensburgh. It is set amidst some of the most dramatic and spectacular scenery in Scotland. In common with many villages in the area it was home to wealthy Glasgow merchant and shipbuilders in the 19th and 20th centuries - many of which can still be seen today. Cove is set amidst some of the most dramatic and spectacular countryside in Scotland and provides the perfect location for exploring. Glasgow, Stirlng, Dunoon, Loch Lomond are all easily accessible. Even the journey to Cove provides spectacular scenery whether you take the coastal road round the peninsula or the Glen Fruin road - which was recently voted the most scenic road in Scotland.
