An eclectic and curated first-floor loft space with an open floor plan, offering a unique oasis centered on a lovely tree-lined street and immediately adjacent to OTRs Main Street Business District. This space is styled with locally sourced and handcrafted pieces which makes for an art-driven and elevated environment for our guests. Perfect for downtown business trips, city-wide events, and romantic get-a-ways. To book and stay at this space you must be 21+ year old.

The space
This space is a casual, low-key, intimate and inspired place to enjoy during your stay in Cincinnati.

The layout is open with no door dividing the bedroom space from the kitchen and living area. Casual built-in seating and a modest dining table offer the comforts for lounging, dining or working in the space.

The bed rests in what would be the front room of the house, historically.

The bathroom is simple and convenient, with everything you need at arms length.

The kitchenette is lightly stocked with silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, microwave, oven, pots and pans, refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee and ice. Please let us know if you need additional supplies ahead of time as it is very minimally set-up for simple food preparation.

Guest access
You will have complete personal access to this 1st floor apartment which includes a wood deck and shared backyard with seating and a fire pit/fountain (depending on season).

We have a coded door for your keyless convenience. The access code is sent before your arrival. We offer self check-in and are happy to meet you at the house if you'd like. We love to meet our guests whenever possible.

Other things to note
We do not provide parking, but there is a secure and monitored parking structure within the block at Ziegler Park at 1322 Sycamore Street. It’s a total $8 per 24hrs.
Orchard Street is entirely residential permit parking. There is free street parking on Liberty Street and Sycamore Street (up the hill).

Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

This house is on Orchard Street just off of Main Street, which hosts some of the best art galleries, record stores, bread/pastry's, neighborhood cafes, a slew of chef owned restaurants, independent retail shops, theaters and music clubs in the city.

Historically Over-the-Rhine is a working-class neighborhood. It is also believed to be the largest, most intact urban historic district in the United States. The neighborhood's distinctive name comes from its builders and early residents, German immigrants of the mid-19th century. Many walked to work across bridges over the Miami and Erie Canal, which separated the area from downtown Cincinnati. The canal was nicknamed "the Rhine" in reference to the Rhine River in Germany, and the newly settled area north of the canal as "Over the Rhine."In German, the district was called "über dem Rhein."

Over-the-Rhine has been praised for its collection of historic architecture. The New York Times described the neighborhood as having "a scale and grace reminiscent of Greenwich Village in New York." Its architectural significance has also been compared to the French Quarter in New Orleans and the historic districts of Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina. When Arthur Frommer, founder of the Frommer's travel guides, visited Over-the-Rhine he described it as the most promising urban area for revitalization in the United States, and claimed that its potential for tourism "literally could rival similar prosperous and heavily visited areas."
