We were very busy with family events during our stay so we didn't really get the full beach/Bach experience. We did love our morning beachcombing and would love to stay there again for longer especially in summer. Recommended for that classic kiwi Bach holiday!

This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.

Kirsty and Bruce were lovely helpful hosts and their place is gorgeous, quiet and relaxing space, spotlessly clean. Beautiful non crowded beach a short walk away. Breakfast was all locally sourced or homegrown and was delicious. Would love to come back.

Amazing location and views. Only a few minutes to quaint cafes and a well stocked Four Square. Caution for those with mobility considerations - the house is at the top of the garden. While there are steps, I would be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns. But that is what makes the view amazing as well!

A truly wonderful home to stay in…..easily accommodated our family of four adults and two children. The views are spectacular and an easy walk down to the beach and playground. The distance from Whanganui City is a quick 10 minute drive away…and so much to do and see in Whanganui and adjoining area. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house inside and out. Was exactly like the pictures showed. Very cozy and warm and had a lovely homey feeling. Was the perfect size and easily accommodated our group of 5 adults and 1 child. Lovely host who always responded promptly and was friendly and accommodating. Best Airbnb we have stayed at so far. What a beautiful peaceful setting. The lack of wifi and internet connection added to the restfulness. The spa pool was such a treat in the evenings. The outdoor shower provided a warm shower and was a unique experience. An absolutely lovely getaway, very closely situated to Palmerston North. Would absolutely recommend of you want a bit of an off-grid experience!

We had a great stay at Jenni’s place. The apartment is of a very high standard in fittings, furnishings, presentation and convenience. I wasn’t expecting the big motor caravan and pick- up truck at the entrance but once we found the way to the apartment beyond the parked vehicles, we were offered an exceptional place to stay. We had a great time in Whanganui with lots to do over the school hols. While we weren’t in the house very much, it was comfortable and very well appointed for our group from 11 to 82! The backyard and games room are excellent for families.

We stayed for a long weekend for a girls weekend and to do a long day walk on a Saturday. Beautiful spot to relax for a weekend or if you’re planning a hike around the area. The cottage had everything we needed and more and we definitely left feeling like we had a mini vacation! Richard was great at communicating and making sure our time spent at the cottage was wonderful. The pool was an absolute treat after our hike and the spa also to stargaze. Thank you!

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.
