This place was wonderful! The air bnb is a very beautiful, unique and fun historical home! Janeen was very accommodating and very responsive! The air bnb is stocked with everything you could possibly need! The back porch over looking the river was my favorite spot! Very peaceful and serene! I loved this place and would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay! The house is amazing and the surroundings are incredible. We all loved the view! I loved cooking in that kitchen, they had everything you could need to cook a good, big family dinner. We had a lot of fun without even needing to really go out and do much.

My family and I enjoyed our short time at Robins home. The view was stunning. We even had a little snow on our arrival and that made it magical. The house was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed to make a nice dinner for our family. The outdoor area and fire pit were perfect for a chilly evening. Robin was such a wonderful and welcoming host. We are looking forward to our next visit to Lexington in the near future!

This home is so great we have stayed 3 times. Janeen is always a gracious host. One in our party had an accident and she has been understanding and forgiving. Of course we are paying for repairs and wouldn’t have it any other way, but her friendly attitude and understanding made this mistake comfortable so it didn’t hinder our trip. From the first glimpse of the rolling farm hills and quietly grazing cows we knew we had a good place to get away from our ordinary lives. Brendan met us when we arrived at the quaint location: rambling farm home and adjacent out-buildings close to a lovely stream with weeping willows, wild flowers. Brendan helped us with our luggage and showed us around so we could get the most from our stay. We took walks along the farm roads and enjoyed our time in and out of the house. The outdoor shower was fun and I loved the deep claw foot tub.

Lovely quaint cottage. 15-20 minutes to Lexington, Sarah was very responsive. Quiet and dog friendly:)

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting! Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Tons of space for people and pets alike. For horse people this stay is a short 14 min drive to the Virginia Horse Center. Highly recommend all around!!

We cannot say enough great things about the owners and this beautiful cabin!! If you are thinking about booking, think no more and do it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful on the inside but the area outside of the cabin made us feel like we were in our own sweet world. We saw deer, squirrels, so many birds, it was on the river and it was dreamy. The cabin itself was so fun! To stay in a real log cabin was a bucket list item and it was very pristine. There were wonderfully helpful notes all around to help us out and did I mention it was beautiful?!???

We had an amazing time! The cottage was clean, extremely stocked with lots of extras which was so nice. The views are incredible. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They are close if you need anything but the house is very private. The adults, kid and dogs loved it! Hope to come back again!

Great, clean and beautifully decorated home. Lots of room for relaxing and spreading out. Only very small negative is there are no bathrooms attached to any of the rooms. My husband and I slept in the downstairs bedroom and you have to walk through the family room to get to the bathroom. Other than that, we’d stay here every single visit. Great place!!

Our stay was wonderful! A perfect spot to get together with a few families for a relaxed weekend. The house was super clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. We especially appreciated all the kids toys and baby items available (crib, high chair, toys). Thanks for a great stay!

A wonderful stay! If you’re looking for peace and quiet surrounded by natural beauty, this is the place for you! I stayed after a couple of snowstorms and the scenery with the deer and other wildlife was just stunning. Eric and Elise are very friendly and are available without being intrusive. The place was clean and cozy and the bed very comfortable! I was here over a month and it definitely felt like home - especially with the resident (outdoor) kitty who was a wonderful friendly little visitor! Would love to visit again during Spring bloom! My husband and I went away for my birthday and had an excellent time. This place is gorgeous and peaceful. We walked around the property, checked out the pond, and trails. Do yourself a favor and take the walk at the back of the property and go down to the creek. The place is really close to Natural Bridge and other hot spots. If you like BBQ go to the place called 501 Roadhouse, it's about 10 minutes away. Would definitely go back!

We came in for a reunion at W&L, and we absolutely loved our stay at Walapa’s! Her instructions for getting in were crystal clear. It’s a great space, and her garden is so peaceful and beautiful. We were traveling with two little children and she went above and beyond in accommodating us, setting up a crib and art table and providing books and toys. She even spent half an hour showing our toddler around the garden. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Lexington (as long as it’s available)!

The perfect place to relax and have fun! And perfect for a little father gathering too. We are all outdoorsy people so we had a blast exploring the property. The pond and the creek were awesome! The cabin itself is so cozy and beautifully constructed. Zero complaints. We will definitely be back!
