Eileen’s property was spacious clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and the property was very quiet and relaxing in the country side.

Elizabeth's apartment is very well located, two minutes walk from all amenities (supermarket, pubs, restaurants, shops ). The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, tastefully decorated and has wonderful river views. Great starting point to Connemara's points of interest. Elizabeth was responsive in answering our questions.

Location location location! This was an incredible little gem right in the hub of activity! The Long Walk was at our front door, literally. We had no idea that where we stayed was a picture point for artists (photos and paintings). We felt like we were living in the artwork! Annamarie was so pleasant and chatty and made us feel so very welcome. She really understood our gluten-free needs! (Thank you Annamarie!) She was very detailed in instructions upon arrival and then respected privacy while we were there. The unit was clean/tidy. Typical “wear” for an older place but totally acceptable. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, yet you are within very close walking distance to all the restaurants, pubs, and shoppes…literally a 5 minute walk to the action. The house is a beautifully kept home from home. It had everything needed and plenty of space for families. It’s only a short drive to Castleblayney. Bernard is very responsive from booking to check out and he made the visit very stress free with providing exact information needed. A lovely welcome pack was also provided on arrival. Excellent accomodation all round.

We had a little trouble locating the property but Patrick's wife, Michelle, came to find us so that we could follow her there. She was very kind and welcoming and even escorted us in to town and recommended some restaurants to us. It is a beautiful place to stay, clean and well equipped, with stunning views of the Irish countryside and excellent hosts. Would highly recommend.

Chris and Colette were fantastic hosts, ensuring that every need was met during my stay. Their property is exceptionally well-maintained, and I look forward to returning in April 2025. Having not visited Sligo since childhood, I was delighted to find it so conveniently located near my old home. The river walk to Dooley Park is particularly beautiful and adds to the charm of the area. Highly recommended!

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the red brick house. We were a group of 3 adults (one elderly) and 4 children aged 10, 8, 6 and 3. The house fit our needs perfectly, plenty of room for the children to run around in with the fantastic addition of the basement games room which had plenty of use from us all. Location was perfect for my elderly father in law as was only a short walk to the town. Joe who was there to greet us was very welcoming and helped settle us in and was also there to check that our stay had gone ok at the end. We will most definitely be back. Thank you very much. This house was a great find and suited our needs perfectly . When we arrived Michael checked with us about our local knowledge. But he was completely unobtrusive apart from that. The facilities are excellent and the house was spotless. Heating was really good. Set on a timer but house remained warm even when off. Dromod is a nice quiet village well placed for larger towns like Carrick on Shannon and Longford. Totally recommended

Martin really was a superhost! Extremely nice, friendly & helpful. This is a beautiful apartment, very central with secure private parking. The place is spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable & Martin has all the essentials there if you're staying longer. Honestly could not recommend this Air B&B highly enough.

Max was very responsive and nice with very flexible timings. Definitely will come back to stay there again.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Mary’s place! The surroundings are beautiful, and the location is convenient with great access to the town. The price was very reasonable for everything that was offered. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, the hot tub and sauna made our trip so much more enjoyable — they turned rainy days into relaxing afternoons. Sitting by the dock with a cup of hot tea, watching the water, was one of the most peaceful moments of our stay. Thank you, Mary, for providing such a cozy and lovely getaway!

One of the best Air BnB’s we have stayed in , particularly for Ireland and for a dog friendly space. Instructions were very clear and accessible was easy. The apartment is very well laid out and has everything you need and more - we only wished we could have stayed longer.
