Vacation rentals with a fire pit in River Shannon

Recently we stayed in Carme's place for two nights and it was a home away from home. The house is beautiful, spacious and cosy and it boasts a beautiful view of Croagh Patrick. I loved seeing the cows in the field while having my breakfast and the family sheep dog is so friendly. Thank you Carmel for your delicious home baked bread, jam and your farm eggs. It was such a lovely and welcoming gesture. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will just have to come back!

We had a great few days in Marys this weekend. House was gorgeous and clean. We were super impressed and would recommend it to anyone. Mary was great to deal with too and nothing was a problem! Thanks again

We had a wonderful 4 nights in the cottage. It was exactly as described and much bigger than the pictures. Tracey met us when we checked in and showed us around and gave us some local places to visit. We would love to return to this part of the country again and would absolutely without hesitation book here again. Thanks so much for a lovely weekend in your cottage.

A lovely and cozy house in a peaceful location. We loved the quietness to get away from a busy city environment. Anna was super responsive and the welcome manual was really helpful and clear full with local recommendations. The house itself was clean and just felt really warm and welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and have quality time with the family!

Wow what a fantastic accomodation! Lovely location, just stunning! The house is really luxurious. Driving distance to restaurants and shops. Just around the corner to Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and Aran Islands. Would recommend to anyone!!

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, yet surrounded by so many great places and things to do. The house was cozy and very unique. Sheila and Redmond are fantastic hosts. They cared very much about us having a great experience and provided support and a wealth of knowledge on the area. This was the perfect place to call home for our few days in County Galway. We hope we can make it back one day!!

We had a lovely stay here for a reunion with six uni friends — such a special catch-up! The place was perfect for our group: spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The amenities were great — everything we needed was provided, and the whole home felt really well thought out. A beautiful spot to relax, laugh, and reconnect. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Myself and some family stayed here for 1 night at short notice as we had a family funeral to attend nearby. Sinéad was amazing. She took our booking, provided the best breakfast pack i have ever had at an air b and b. She was responsive, kind and accommodating, offering us an early checkin to help with our travels So glad to have been able to stay here with my family. Th house and location is amazing. We have all agreed that we would love to return at another time when we can stay for longer and really appreciate and enjoy the house and area more. Looking forward to coming back Thank you Sinead

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

I really recommend Edel and Barry’s accommodation. They are brilliant hosts, and their accommodation is in a quiet but very convenient location to the many amazing sights around County Clare and the local County town of Ennis. Edel answered my queries so quickly and was so helpful during our stay. Their accommodation is spotless, is a perfect size, and has every amenity you’ll need for your stay. When I’m back in County Clare I’d definitely stay at Edel and Barry’s again

Ciaras place was great! Just a few mins drive into Ballina, and the place was exactly as described. Ciara was very responsive on chat when we had a query.

Only a short stay but a truly lovely experience. The unit was spacious, comfortable, quiet and beautifully presented. The generosity of the breakfast that was provided was amazing - and delicious! Highly recommend Jan and Sandy New Zealand

Liz was a fantastic host and we had a wonderful stay in her lovely apartment! It was so peaceful and the apartment is very comfortable and cozy, but just steps from lots of restaurants and shops. She was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and sent us a lot of suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing before we arrived that made our visit even better. The apartment was so peaceful and comfortable though that we were happy spending a lot of time there as well. Our family would absolutely return to Clifden and to Liz’s charming home - she is an outstanding host!

What a lovely and pretty accommodation! The bed is quite comfortable, beautiful seaview and David is a friendly host with good recommendations for the place! Anytime again :)

We had a lovely stay at Debbie and Stuart’s place! The place was very spacious and had everything we needed for our week long stay. It’s also super close to major sites such as the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren trails which was very handy for us.

Since day one Joe and Madeline were very helpful. Very easy to find when driving there and instructions for checking in etc were very clear. Surroundings was beautiful felt at peace and would definitely visit again. Each cabin had their own kitchen area with everything you need. Shower and toilet facilities were close as well. We will definitely be returning

We loved our stay here. Roy met us on arrival and helped us with our luggage. It’s just a short walk to the cabin, which are facing a lovely wildflower meadow. Like the surroundings they are beautiful inside and out and have a little hob and fridge in the kitchen and some basic cookware. We enjoyed the short walks round the nature reserve in the evenings. There is a very good small supermarket in the town and several nice places in the area to get a coffee, a drink and food. It’s a great location for exploring the Burren. We also recommend the seafood restaurants that are about 15 minute drive away as they are incredible - Linnane’s and Moran’s.

Wir hatten einen schönen, wenn auch kurzen, Aufenthalt bei Mark! Es handelt sich um ein gemütliches kleines Haus mit schönen Ausblick. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden.

Clean cosy little cabin. Friendly and helpful host. Kitchen was pretty well equipped for our needs. I would recommend this place to family/friends. Thank you for the lovely eggs.

We booked Sam's cabin for our anniversary and the biggest hook was privacy and the hot tub. It did not disappoint, the area was beautiful, cabin was prestine and so cozy. Fitted with everything you might need. the hot tub was in excellent condition and private as well. The host Sam, and David were very accommodating and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend as a spot to reconnect with your significant other or just be able to turn off. We will definitely be coming back! ☺️❤️

Brigit und John haben uns sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen. Sie sind beide sehr liebevolle Menschen und wir führten einige spannende Gespräche mit ihnen. Ihr kleines Häuschen ist ein Schmuckstück und wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und enthält alles was man braucht.

Joe and Family were so welcoming and helpful with great information and help when needed. The house was amazing value and was perfect for our fishing needs. Thanks so much Joe. Would highly recommend for a stay especially if you fishing in the area.

Host was very nice and always helpful, the villa was beautiful would definitely recommend for a couple on a nice getaway, I’ll definitely be going back again , the cabins themselves felt really cozy and just had a at home feel to them also the extra options for the jacuzzi and sauna were good really recommend, the Vila in general looks beautiful and very peaceful almost felt as if I wasn’t in Ireland and away in a tropical forest, the cabin was also super clean and very spacious over all I had a wonderful stay with my partner solid 5 stars
