Cozy Country Cottage-Near Charlottetown

Sue’s place had a large yard away from other houses for our dog to run. Her house is peaceful and quiet with real no traffic. Easy ten minute drive to Cornwall and all the amenities you need. We liked the open concept kitchen, dining and living room. Eight people could easily enjoy a meal. Beds are comfy and she had everything you could think of for amenities. We appreciated the homey feel with the extra blankets, Kleenex and garbage cans in each room. Would sleep four adults and one child comfortably. Don’t hesitate to book if you need a spacious and safe yard for your dogs to enjoy! Thanks Sue!

Lyndsay's cottage was exactly what we were looking for in a month-long holiday rental. It was comfortable and well-stocked with everything we needed. We were able to dial in to do school work, relax, spread out puzzles on the table, and cook all of our meals. The master bed was luxurious... we slept so well. And I brought way too many clothes, as we were able to keep up with laundry, so we wore the same cozy outfits over and over. Thank you, Lyndsay, for your hospitality! You were the best host! We highly recommend your place, and we'd love to return someday. Karyn & Calvin

This was our first trip to PEI and we were unfamiliar with the area. We had a lovely stay in the beautiful cottage and had everything we needed, except shampoo. :-) It was a little removed from restaurants, shopping and grocery stores but forced us to venture out and explore! The cottage was lovely, and the beds were so comfortable!

We couldn't have been happier! Lyndy's lake house was beautiful and peaceful. It was very clean and had lots of pantry items that we were able to use. The location is absolutely beautiful being right on the lake. Our kids played for hours by the water. Lyndy was very responsive and even left us some gluten-free cookies in the freezer when she found out that my daughter had Celiac Disease; something that had never been done for us before. It made my daughter so happy. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Bryan was an excellent host who went out of his way to ensure we had an overall excellent experience. This house is everything you see in the photos/ description and more. The kids absolutely loved the basement. This property is located in the prettiest area less than 20 minutes away from the town. We highly recommend it :)

Our stay at Monique's Cottage was exceptional. An authentic slice of Maritime Heaven. Growing up, I spent most summers in PEI, so know the Island very well. That said, Montague was new to me, and it exceeded each and every expectation. The location of the cottage was ideal, very close to town, restaurants, and many Maritime Music options. Location was very private and quiet, and enjoyed daily swims on the beach. Weather was warm, so the air conditioning was very much appreciated, resulting in excellent sleeps. Can not say enough about how much we enjoyed Montague, MacDonald's Bakery, Windows on Water, and Copper Bottom Brewery were a few of our many favorites. Really enjoyed Georgetown and close proximity to Charlottetown. We'll be back. Glen.

It was our first time on Panmure Island. The weather wasn't terrific but Tony's place was clean and comfortable so being inside didn't matter. It was great that we could bring our two dogs for their first holiday away from home. We got to the beach/Provincial Park and loved it. Had a drive around the Island and am looking forward to returning when the weather is a bit better

This was a nice quiet, cozy cottage for the two of us. We could have easily added some kids (second bedroom had bunkbeds and there was a loft) but would have been hard with all girls, just one bathroom. Good base to explore PEI, we went all the way out west to North Cape and into eastern PEI. Charlottetown about 30 minute drive and did most of our shopping there has everything you might need, check out farmer’s market and roadside stands. There was a beach in walking distance too.

Wonderful relaxing place for the 2 of us. Tubs and Hot tub are extremely nice. Room for 6. We cooked, grilled, and relaxed. It was a perfect place to stay for us. 2 bathrooms, but only 1 shower. Something for a larger group to be aware of.

The airbnb of Matt & MJ is great, in terms of facilities, equipment, and decorations. We have a fun time here with our friends. The kitchen is great and the Jacuzzi is fantastic. Matt & MJ are very nice and offer many helps to us during our stay. It is a good rest to stay two nights during our trip to the eastern coast of Canada. I would have no hesitation to recommend this wonderful Airbnb to our friends if they would like to take a trip to PEI next time.

If we could give our stay more than 5 *, we would. The cottage was perfect for our family and Lee-Ann was a fabulous and responsive host. From the kitchen supplies, to the beach towels, to the games and books, every detail was thought out. We loved the peaceful and quiet location. It was a quick drive to the local grocery store and close enough to Charlottetown that we could go in for a walk/dinner. We managed to see most of the island in our short 5 day stay. We will definitely be back.

This cottage is private, unique and full of character. Very well equipped. The cottage has many lovely nooks and crannies, so everywhere you turn there's something new to discover. It's truly a retreat from the busy, noisy world, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's this kind of place that makes PEI so memorable. We had an amazing 4 night stay in one of the Chalets - we didn't want to leave! The view from the upper chalets is unbelievable. Kelly was a wonderful host! She was always extremely quick to respond and answer any questions - she was even able to assist us retrieve an item that another member of our party, staying in an adjacent chalet, left behind. On the day of arrival, we were able to check-in early and enjoy the property. There was even a welcome gift with some snacks - such a nice 'added touch!' The chalets were as clean and well appointed as we had remembered from previous stays. There were lots of linens available, but there is also a washer and dryer in the chalet. Gary, the groundskeeper was so friendly and told us about some of the history of the property. On site, there is a small beach with loungers & a fire pit, a pond with a new dock and watercrafts. There's a heated pool, small basketball court, a games room and lots of space for biking. We can't wait to return!
