Vacation rentals with a pool in River Dee

What a wonderful host, and magical place. It was such a lovely time, we’ve booked to come again. Mike is a treat, a remarkable character who exudes a warm that makes you feel instantly at home. The barn is full of charm and the chickens, ducks and peacocks a delight (especially if you see them angling for a biscuit from Mike!) The pool is incredible. Perfect for all ages. We’re half visiting again in the hope the kids will be bored of the pool and we’ll be able to get out and explore more… I don’t hold out too much hope on that one. A real gem of a find.

Great value for a great place to stay. A short drive away from the busy centre of Llangollen so it was very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful welsh surroundings literally on the door step. Hosts were very friendly but as they’d organised the accommodation so well, we didn’t really need to bother them! The house has everything needed for a short stay to make our stay all the more convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends with their families! Diolch yn fawr

We had a brilliant stay at the caravan. Detailed instructions on how to check in and easy to find on the site. When we got inside the caravan we were so impressed with how modern it was and also how well equipped the caravan was, even the little things like washing up liquid, salt & pepper & oil that usually we have to take with us when staying in other caravans. The place was so clean and homely. The caravan is situated close to the main part of the site but also lovely and quiet. I would highly recommend this caravan and the hosts were so attentive, checking that everything was okay with us when we there. Thank you so much!

Recently stayed over the bank holiday weekend arrived the house was super clean and ready on time. The lady on site was lovely, friendly and always happy to help. It’s close to Conwy and surrounding areas but far enough out that is quiet, the swimming pool is great and a big bonus. All I would say is it could have done with some plastic cups for the kids and coffee machine otherwise it was perfect we will definitely come back

Thank you to Emma and James for an amazing few days at the barn celebrating my 60th year with friends . We had amazing weather and made great use of the pool, loved the barn with its spacious and light bedrooms and found all of Emma’s recommendations to be spot on. Ellesmere boathouse for lunch was perfect and the various shops there. We will most definitely be back.

beautiful tranquil place with the most scenic view. what better way to unwind and relax by sitting in the hot tub looking out at the stunning view. that is something money can't buy!! peaceful nights sleep,bed was very comfy. kitchen full equipped with everything you could possibly need. nice clean and tidy throughout. Penny welcomed us and was very friendly. would recommend the bodnant for a delicious Sunday roast with locally sourced produce at a reasonable price. all round great trip. will definitely be going back again :)

Spotless caravan with two bathrooms and absolute bonus of a hot tub! It's a lovely space and the reception team were helpful and friendly. Owner responded to messages really quickly and was friendly. Easy to drive to places like Snowdon, Llandudno, Conwy, Aber falls, Wrexham etc. Big Tesco's only about 15 mins away. All in all a fantastic stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay and the beautiful surroundings! Michiala was a great host and extremely welcoming on arrival. Would definitely recommend to others travelling and if we’re ever back in the area we would love to stay again.
