Beachfront vacation rentals in Rivas

My friends and I had a great time at the house it had everything we needed and the Property Caretaker Don Pedro was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Violetas house to stay in San Juan del Sur.

We had a very nice stay at Casa Pocahontas and felt right at home. The house is decorated with a lot of love and is located about 10-15 minutes walk from Playa Maderas. We spent a lot of time in the open living area with the huge terrace. A great place to relax, read a book or watch the wildlife in the jungle. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were well equipped. There was even a yoga mat and blackrolls. If we had any questions, Sebastian was always available and due to the keybox the check in/out was very flexible and uncomplicated. We can only recommend the Casa and would definitely come back again.

The only thing was the limited availability to check in earlier. Usually Airbnbs are check-in 2pm and check-out 12pm with this one it was an hour later and an hour earlier and no matter how hard we tried he didn't want to give us flexibility otherwise everything was perfect

Jan-Luc’s stay was wonderful. A very responsive and communicative host. My group of four had a great time. The stay is very walkable to town where everything is happening, but far enough away to feel separate when it’s time to rest. Great views from the rooftop and balcony. Would recommend!

We had a great stay in Elvis’s apartment! He was very responsive and friendly when we had any questions. The apartment looks just like the pictures.

Very nice stay! thanks to omar & the housekeeper jose, which always helpef us out, if we needed something. The facilities are great, especially the pool and the kitchen. Would stay there again!

John's apartment was fantastic. Very modern and clean apartment and in a great location just down the road from the main street and beach. The views were amazing and there is a fan and air conditioning and hot water showers. The wifi did cut out a lot but worked enough for what we needed. Ramon, the property manager was also so accommodating. He delivered everything we needed and went above and beyond to track down and deliver crutches for me as I had an accident before coming to SJDS and could not walk. I could not recommend this apartment more and will definitely stay here again when I return to SJDS.

Our stay at this house was just amazing. The house is very comfortable, nice and with a spectacular view of the beach. Yorlenys' service was impeccable, always attentive and responding at all times. The kitchen was fully equipped which allowed us to prepare our meals smoothly. The rooms were very comfortable, and the service provided by Mr. Emiliano and his wife Eveling was 10/10. They helped us with everything we needed and, to our surprise, when we left we found that Emiliano had washed our vehicles on his own initiative, a detail that we really appreciated and that deserved a good tip. Another amazing point was that, although the check-out time was 11 am, Yorlenys, with her kindness, allowed us to stay until the end of the afternoon. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy the whole day at the beach and return to the house to bathe before starting our return trip, which was a great plus. I recommend this place

We had a great stay in Liliana's apartment. You truly can't beat the views. You can see the whole bay of SJDS and it is gorgeous! The apartment is well appointed, beds are comfortable and ACs blowing cold =). It was also a very close walk to town. You do have to be ok with climbing the hill but we welcomed the work out. The driveway is incredibly steep. We had a 4wd and were fine but I imagine it might be a little hard for smaller cars (although we did see smaller cars parked up top, so definitely doable). We had a great stay in this beautiful home! The view from the back of the house is captivating. The pictures do not do it justice. Definitely more than what we imagined and really happy we chose this place to stay while in SJDS. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back. Just a few minutes drive to the beach, local restaurants and bars.

A beautiful home that fit all of our 14 guests with no concerns about space! The pool was refreshing and we loved being able to walk on the beach into town. Do be cautious about the river nearby that flows into the ocean as there are some critters in that water but we spent most of our time in the pool. It was nice getting a guided tour of the house upon check-in and also having someone as security throughout the night to ensure no one tried anything suspicious. We were also given some recs on what to do in the area as the host has their own tour business as well. Do be mindful of your electricity use as it stated 80 KW/DAY and it’s actually per night. Overall a great time with family and friends!

We had to chance to meet with Luis & Tiffany and they were really nice and helpful with everything ! It was a real pleasure to meet them and to stay at their place. Honestly they were two of the nicest person we’ve ever met! We really love the pool, the rooftop terrace, the breakfast were very good and Carlos the janitor was also very nice! The view was amazing ! If we ever we come back in Nicaragua we’ll be sure to go there again! The only thing that you should be aware is that you have a lot of stairs to climb before getting to the place. It’s not meant for disabled person. But beside that everything is perfect. You will definitely enjoy your stay there!

This place was perfect, very short walk to the beach, pool and restaurant. The house and kitchen had everything we needed for the months stay. And chelsea was an amazing host that was always there when we had questions.

had a great time at this place, the view and location is amazing, dishes and appliances are a bit old and run down, had no problems only thing was there’s nothing in the listing about paying if you go over a certain amount of electricity. we were 5 people in a house meant for up to 10, we were VERY mindful about keeping lights and AC off used it only at night and not even for a full night in only 2 out of 3 rooms and we still went over and had to pay extra which i couldn’t help but feel cheated out of that money. for that reason i would not return.

Beautiful, clean, well-maintained condo. Easy access to town via the beach or via a short taxi ride. Fantastic views from the balcony. Woke up to howler monkeys and many different birds. We will definitely be back.

An excellent, quiet and homely place! The perfect air conditioning!

Our stay at Cheryl's house was pleasant, her house is very well-equipped, clean and has everything you need to have a good time. The house is located in a safe area and is close to the main bay. Cheryl was also very helpful and friendly and was in touch and available throughout our stay. Definitely highly recommended to stay here, we'll be back very soon.
