A group of people is seen riding camels across the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. The warm golden hues of the dunes create a striking backdrop, while the blue sky complements the scene. The riders are dressed in light, colorful clothing, with hats for sun protection.

Maison Bedouin Merzouga

The days were great! We were received in a very friendly manner by the family. The tea and snacks made the arrival very pleasant. The room is incredibly beautiful and large. The shower and toilet are very clean and spacious. The family's children are very decent and friendly. The mom was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was awesome, typically Moroccan. I highly recommend it!

Great stay at this large villa in Arfoud! Well equipped, with a beautiful garden and ideally located in the center, close to Merzouga, Rissani, the souk of Erfoud dates and the Souk des Fossiles. Very welcoming host. I recommend!
A serene landscape features expansive sand dunes reflecting on a tranquil body of water. The dunes display subtle hills and a warm orange hue, while the still water mirrors their shape, creating a harmonious scene that captures the essence of the desert environment.

Large colorful rooms in Merzouga

EtienneRating, 5 stars67 months ago
In fact, it is Omar and his whole family who welcome you to his large house at the foot of a large dune. Omar takes care of everything you need: meals, guide to visit the region (desert, Lake Dayet, Rissani...). Mustapha was a great guide. Omar allowed us to discover the Berbers and the desert. We highly recommend it.

Overnight Bivouag Camel Trips

MattiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great desert experience with Moha! Absolutely beautiful. He was very responsive with all my questions (traveling with 2 kids we had a lot) and from the moment we arrived he and his brother welcomed us in a great way. We rode our camels to see sunset in the desert before heading to our camp for the night where we enjoyed tea, dinner, music and the most amazing stars view. The tent was clean and the beds super comfortable. In the morning we went back to the dunes to see sunrise and then we had breakfast at Moha’s House in the village. Great value for money and I particularly appreciated the fact that our group was very small (8ppl) while we saw huge groups in other camps. Overall it was a magic experience and absolute recommended!

Bivouac la fibula des Dunes

El MehdiRating, 5 stars7 months ago
An Unforgettable Desert Experience in Merzouga" My stay at the bivouac was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of adventure. Nestled among the golden dunes of the Sahara, the camp offered a perfect blend of authenticity and comfort. The tents were well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated, providing the right amount of privacy while still allowing us to feel connected to the vast desert surroundings. Watching the sunset over the dunes was a breathtaking experience that I will never forget. The traditional Moroccan dinner we enjoyed under the stars was delicious, with an impressive variety of flavors. The hosts made sure we were well taken care of and shared stories about Berber culture and life in the desert, which added a personal touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend taking the camel ride at sunrise, silence, stars and the endless dunes made it as an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend

Erg chebbi starlight camp

Moha is the best host so far, very friendly and eager to do his best while staying with him. Accommodation is perfect, clean. Trip to desert, dinner and tents were simply the best. Camelman (Moha, please send him greetings, I forgot his name) was excellent guide, he prepared really nice dinner and we had lovely conversation in the evening. we learned a lot about nomad people, Berbers and the life in the desert. This is a place and people I would come back again! thank you Moha and to your family!
Three individuals are standing on a sandy dune, gazing at the expansive desert landscape below. A vehicle is parked nearby, with tufts of desert vegetation scattered throughout the golden sands. The blue sky above is clear and bright.

For different reasons I don't want to relate, finally we couldn't sleep in the jaimas. However, Hssaine was sympathetic to us with the different issues that arose on our trip and for that we are grateful. We are not going to value our stay in the Jaimas, but the place we stayed, which was the Riad. I was clean and very beautiful, with a typical Moroccan decoration. The welcome tea we were offered was very good and honestly, we had a very interesting conversation with Hssaine. I wish things would have been otherwise. It was nice to spend time with him and share anecdotes and experiences.
