The Colorado

Relax at The Colorado on the Current River. Set on 6 acres in a park-like setting with 1100' of private river frontage, private boat ramp & gravel bar. In addition to the river, the property borders Briar's Creek, known for fishing. The outdoor pavilion, kitchen & deck is perfect for outdoor meals, games, & enjoying nature. The lodge has 4 bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms & is located right off the highway, no gravel roads to navigate. We unfortunately cannot accommodate animals due to allergies.

A dozen eggs are neatly arranged in a blue carton. The eggs vary in color, including shades of brown and cream. The carton is partially open, revealing the eggs inside and the six empty sections intended for additional eggs.

Simple Rustic Cabin/Camping and Farm Experience

Rustic cabin in the woods adjoining Mark Twain National Forrest, about 300 square feet. Cabin includes: table, chairs, cots (air beds available on request and bedding not provided), kitchenette (mini-fridge, oven, stove, dishes, coffee maker), sleeping loft, front and back porch, gravity-fed shower and sink from two 55-gallon water barrels, outhouse for restroom, picnic table with fire-pit and grill for fire pit. No cell phone signal. Bring bedding, toiletries, bug spray, and a love of nature!

The entrance features a pair of glass-paned doors, framed by symmetrical windows. Two green ferns in white pots are positioned on either side. A navy and white striped rug adds a touch of color to the wooden porch, which overlooks a serene outdoor view.

Come to the lovely Current River to relax, boat, float and have fun. This beautiful, spacious cabin is just what you are looking for. It lies along the bank of the river in a remote setting, yet is only 1.3 miles from town. The location cannot be beat. This cabin is uniquely set up as two stand alone levels, featuring two kitchens, 5 bedrooms, two living rooms, and 2 bathrooms. The cabin has decks overlooking the river at both upper and lower levels.

The cabin exterior is illuminated in warm glow, highlighting rustic wooden walls and a spacious covered porch. Decorative string lights hang from the eaves, creating a welcoming ambiance. A gravel driveway and stepping stones lead up to the entrance, surrounded by natural wooded scenery.

Such a lovely place to stay!! We had a blast!! If you visit the area Kellies place is a must stay!! Clean homey and has everything you can ask for!! Nice peaceful area!! I’ve traveled all over the world and Kellie’s place is a 10/10!!!

Kathy Robert are so friendly a d helpful! You are greeted with a peacock feather and a smiling faces. The cabins are equipped with almost everything you need. It's so peaceful and the farm animals come to visit you which is always nice. Great people and a great place to disconnect from the everyday world. Highly recommend you come and visit.

Our second stay at this beautiful hidden gem was yet another successful family vacation. Kathy and Robert are such amazing and generous hosts. Despite several challenges that arose such as a hurt elderly dog and several damaging storms that knocked out power, Kathy and Robert jumped into action without missing a beat. They made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed every moment of our stay. Whether it's a peaceful retreat or a family glamping experience you're looking for, this place offers so many options. Hike, bike, fish, and explore their private piece of Midwest wilderness. You can't beat the experience for this price. Myself, my husband and our two little boys enjoy this place so much, it will be a yearly vacation to look forward to. We already miss the sites, sounds, and lovable pups. And if course our fabulous hosts who are now like family. Until next year....
