First of all i want to say how beautiful the cottage is, it is a lovely cottage to stay in like home from home, did not need anything, all there for you, really comfortable bed, the garden was inclosed and peaceful, the cottage was lovely and clean, and very cosy in the evenings, James & Isabel left us some local biscuits and milk, which was needed after nearly 5 and 1/2 traveling! lovely hot drink we were blessed with beautiful weather, visited Lyme Regis which was not too far away to travel, West Bay, Weymouth, Beer and Seaton did quite a bit Thank you for letting us share this beautiful cottage, would definitely stay there again Anna & James from Bedford

Debra and her daughter are lovely and friendly. The cottage is idyllic and so peaceful. The walk to and from the car is lovely in the morning looking over the fields in the distance. The linen and towels were all lovely and fresh and the hot tub was kept immaculate throughout our stay . It was chilly in the evenings and the fire was cosy. We will definitely return . We had a wonderful stay at the cottage over Christmas. Glenda gave great directions and check in instructions, with dinning recommendations. She was very helpful throught the stay. The cottage was perfect, it was exactly as the photos, stylish, welcoming and luxurious. We didn't want to leave. Glenda had also gone the extra mile with lots of fabulous touches. We felt so welcome and the were overwhelmed with the gorgeous Christmas decorations, a lovely surprise. It was also well appointed, so many thoughtful details. We loved the butter dishes, lamps and artwork. Everything was very considered, clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Great location and brilliant pizzas at the pub, just a walk away. There was a little park for the boys and the local shop in the neighbouring village was well stocked. We loved it and would love to stay again. Fantastic break, thank you so much. The perfect cottage escape.

Just back from west Bullen The cottage is just as the pictures show.. down stairs the bedroom and en-suite are a good size very modern but still have some of the old character. The living room/kitchen is a little small but was fine for the two of us and our dog. There is access to both levels from the garden which we found useful as our dog couldn’t manage the spiral staircase. The view from the large balcony/BBQ area is breathtaking , we were fortunate enough to see some fantastic sunsets. The garden is also a nice large area that our dog was very happy exploring, but as others have said it’s not fully secure and dogs could wander off down the lane, fortunately Ozzy never goes far from home. Louise made a point of coming out to meet us ,she was very friendly and helpful. we are getting on in years and as others have mentioned found the gravel slope up to the house a bit of a challenge but as Louise said “you can’t get the view without going up” Thanks for a great stay Louise.

Clerk Cottage is a true delight, by far one of the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. Every detail has been thought of in order to ensure a comfortable stay, very high quality, we loved it. Have to also mention the fabulous shower! Close to some great walks through the church grounds. I hope being right next to a graveyard doesn’t put you off as this cottage is a true gem. So much we extended our stay and can highly recommend, thank you Claire.

Wow! We had such a lovely stay. We just wanted to kick back for a few days and rest and this was perfect. Perfect cottage and perfect area. The cottage is immaculately kept and so well equipped with lovely little welcoming touches. Croissants were lovely, as were the Ferrero Rocher! Hosts were excellent. We had a short Wifi outage which made no difference to us but Ashley was quick to update us that they had a supplier issue and would be fixed asap. All in all, we had a lovely time, it felt like home from home. We relaxed, enjoyed the log burner and watched the birds! PERFECT! Thank You!

We had a lovely stay at Lisa’s cottage. The cottage was idyllic, clean, cosy and well equipt. The location is great, taking approximately 10 minutes to walk in to Lyndhurst, which has lots of shops and restaurants. We were able to do lots of cycling from the house and store our bikes in the shed at the back, which was great. Although there is no parking space at the house, there was always plenty of space along the road, which was very close to the property. I would recommend staying, and we'd definitely consider staying again

Parking was easy in the Firehouse car park behind the cottage and it would have been lovely to have a meal there if we’d had more time. We would love to stay again!

We booked a last minute break in one of our favourite places and fell in love with Beech Cottage. I made a booking error with the dates and messaged Jill who was more than happy to change it for us and was very understanding. We had clear directions on how to get there and the little cottage was secluded, quiet and overlooked fields and hills, wonderful to sit in the communal garden with a morning coffee and watch the deer. We know the area well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Spotless throughout, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and sofas, games and lots of local info to thumb through. Great amenities and the little dishwasher was a bonus (although we didn’t use it as we enjoyed fish and chips at West Bay, as well as a great dinner at The George Inn). A minor issue with hot water in the second night, but mostly our fault for assuming the hot water would just be available without hitting the booster and that the shower was electric! Will absolutely book again as we loved it!!
