You can, however, go out into the yard and have direct access to a long walk along the waterfront. Close to many activities (garden, museum, hiking, skiing). Being hikers, we chose this location to be closer to 'Les portes de l'enfer: The Gates of Hell'. We also wanted to explore Rimouski and surrounding areas. Both were within a half hour drive from our apartment. Lydia's spot was spacious, clean, bright and tastefully decorated. It was also very well stocked. I appreciated how responsive Lydia was when we had questions. Thanks again!
