The loft overlooks the downstairs living area which has an open living room, dining area, and kitchen. The second bedroom and bath are located on the first floor. Granite, quartzite, and slate accentuate the countertops, vanities, and shower areas. You will also see unique pieces of furniture, accent tables and artwork throughout the house.

Our Place - A Big Little House

Mahali Petu is a five year old guest house situated well off the road with meadow views. It is built of high quality materials and finishes. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers custom cabinetry & granite countertops. The full bath offers a walk-in European shower with dual shower heads. There is extensive outdoor decking with seating, a gas grill, fire pit, hot tub and an outdoor shower. Peaceful and quiet, yet walking distance to High Falls restaurants and shops.

Sunny and Spacious Studio - a serene getaway

Modern Light Filled Garage Conversion with a small kitchen, full bath with an open deck off the back. A beautiful quiet spot with birds, tall trees and a small creek on 3 acres. The bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed with a small ladder to a little sleeping loft for the kids. There is also a pull out couch in the open kitchen living room area with a deck off the back. This is a small apartment attached to our house that has been designed with care and privacy in mind.

We live upstairs & offer self-check-in. A rare find in the Hudson Valley, our neighborhood is mostly flat, with walkable, quiet roads, and excellent bird-watching. It's an easy bike ride to connect to the vast state-wide rail trail system & all that the Mohonk Preserve has to offer.

View the trestle and walk 5 minutes to the trail from the house. Walk to local eateries, and cinema, or just relax by the river.

The Treecastle at the Roundhouse Homestead

The Treecastle started as a vision when I was a child, but came to life during the quarantine of 2020. Escaping into the woods and surrounded by nature, the treecastle is supported on one end completely by a mature pin oak with hardware from Treehouse Masters TV show. Come enjoy the serenity of our renovated lakeside cottage! Guests can enjoy their time relaxing fireside with panoramic views, hiking or biking 22 miles of trails running through our backyard, and let's not forget splashing around in the lake.
