Vacation rentals in Riemvasmaak

Henry was very very helpful the days before our arrival, with instructions and suggestions. Ockie welcomed us when we arrived and he is very friendly. He was always ready to assist, in case we needed it. The room itself is very spacious, super clean and the bed is very comfortable! The shower is amazing, the water pressure is so nice! We really had an amazing time there and we would definitely come back :)

What an amazing experience! We can’t stop smiling when we think of this wonderful hidden gem! Martiens and Maxie are the friendliest and most thoughtful hosts, and very kind. Our stay in the serene and cosy farmhouse was a blessing & eating in their restaurant is a “must”! The breakfasts, pizza’s and salad were simply delicious! We were also shown the beautiful cellar where the brandy is produced. Martiens explained to us about the intricacies of this unique vineyard and how the brandy is distilled and acquires different flavours. Anyone seeking peace, birdsong, delicious food and impressive hosting, this is the place to stay.

2nd time staying at Adri’s place and it was great, room was clean and neat. Nice and quiet to do work in the evenings or to relax after a long day.

Ruaan was an excellent and friendly host! He phoned me while we were still on our way to make sure everything was going well. He gave my husband clear instructions on how to get to the camp as it was a dirt road with a few turns and small signs. I fell in LOVE with the place the moment we got to our tent. We had a stunning view of the river. The tent it self is well set up and very comfortable. We had very nice sundowner cocktails and a delicious dinner in the restaurant while watching the sunset. We were woken up every morning by my favorite raptors -fisheagles. Ruaan also recommend for us to go to the RiemvasmaakHot Spring. It was an interesting drive and so beautiful. Khamkirri is truly a little piece of Heaven on earth and I will recommend it to everyone. We really hope we can return one day and will definitely stay longer than 2 days.

If you want to experience a breakaway where you can have absolute peace and nature around you, while getting back to basics, rest well and enjoy a fire, a swim in a real farm cement dam, while sipping on a drink of your choice, this is the place to go. Solace, is what comes to mind.

Wonderful, comfortable, sparkl8ng clean stop over so so close to Augrabies Falls. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and above all, kind. Rare qualities in today's world. Thank you. Would stay again, highly recommended.
