Amazing place! Beautiful setting. Gorgeous A-frame cottage on a hill overlooking a lovely river. Stylishly decorated and well-appointed with many amenities. Feels both cabiny and contemporary at once. So peaceful and private! Lovely deck and balcony. You can feel yourself relax upon arriving. Really a paradise where we felt so comfortable! We will return.

We had a girls weekend. Celebrating years of friendship. The home was perfect and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We all loved the hottub. Matthew was extremely responsive. We would book the house again for sure.

Our stay at this cabin in the North Carolina mountains exceeded all expectations. It offered the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation, with plenty of outdoor activities and a comfortable, peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a solo retreat to reconnect with nature, this cabin is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to return! Even better than the photos! We spent most of our time on the patio with great seating, lovely view, hummingbirds visiting and in the fantastic hot tub! Our dogs LOVED the open grass to run in. The beds were comfy and cozy and the kitchen/bathroom were very well stocked.

Came for a short weekend trip and it was absolutely as described! The place felt very clean and well taken care of. Host was very helpful and communicative and was willing to reasonably accommodate our worries of traveling during the winter storm that passed through the day of our check-in, luckily we ended up making it! I would absolutely visit this property again.

We absolutely loved this house! Had everything thing we needed and the fenced backyard was a plus! Very clean! Comfortable beds. We definitely want to come back and visit in the summer!

Lordy, we loved this place. AMAZING windows and kitchen, incredible hosts who were kind and super-responsive, wood burning stove was a delight. We didn't turn the TV on for 3 days and didn't care a bit! Can't wait to be back in the summer!

We recently stayed at the Rambo house before taking off on a section hike, and it was a fantastic experience. The house itself is great, offering comfortable accommodations and a nice facility that made our stay enjoyable. Its location is perfect, with easy access to Damascus , allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

Christina and Vickie were amazing hosts! The property was spotless and tidy! Very modern, very cozy. Lots of space and privacy. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes from the property. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be coming back! Damascus is a small quaint town with an old soul feel. Lots of historical sights and walking trails. For food we recommend Greeko’s in Abingdon.
