Family-friendly vacation rentals in Richibucto

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our anniversary. We had a great time. The location is beautiful, we watched seals sunning themselves on the rocks from the hot tub and the sunsets and sunrises were spectacular. The house was very clean and the furniture was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if you are heading to the Moncton/Shediac area.

A large spacious Lodge is in a beautiful location. It was perfect for our large group. It really fit our team event . If you use GPS , it will take you to cottage next door, don't ignore the sign on the tree that says Lodge and 137 JR lane like we did . lol

great place, easy access to snowmobile trails, beautiful sunset view from the hot tub, Corey was a great host very easy communicating with him. would recommend to anyone who loves the woods and outdoors!

The pictures do not do this little gem justice. Beautiful cottage perfect for a romantic getaway or small family. Really enjoyed all of the walking trails and especially the boardwalk to the beach. Lisa is n amazing host. Quick to respond with any questions. Loved the fact that we could rent for a single night. The hot tub was perfect, private and the perfect temperature. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent séjour, la présence de deux chambres au premier étage et d’une chambre au deuxième étage était excellent pour deux couples dont un avec un bébé. Près des épiceries et des restaurants, tout se fait à pied. Le chalet est tres spacieux, la cuisine bien équipée.

The views were spectatular...the little extras were appreciated. My questions were answered right away. The place was very clean and cozy. It would have been nice to have queen beds instead of doubles. Otherwise I would rent it again.

This location was incredibly tranquil. We stayed for an extended time (3 weeks) and every day felt so peaceful. Our daughter was obsessed with the playground and horses, and with room to run around with our dog it was truly serene. The rooms all have large windows letting in every ounce of glorious sunlight and we found some incredible beaches, especially the ones that involve some exploration! After grabbing some supplies (coffee for the Keurig machine and essentials for home cooking), you won't need much else to make your stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this location to any family with young children looking to spend some quality time. The internet quality was great so I got to check in on my work as needed.

The cottage is five minutes from the beach. I got to walk on it every morning with my dog, who really enjoyed being so close to the water. The place is cozy and has everything we needed. Monique was very responsive and ready to help if needed. And the island itself it’s amazing! Totally recommend it.

Nous avons adoré l’endroit et la plage. Notre chien a aussi semblé très bien pendant le séjour! Il y a un vendeur de fresh see food pas loin, nous avons mangé de très bons homard. Les lits sont confortable et l’église est bien équipée. Il y a un petit Marley a 5 minutes à pieds qui dépanne très bien! L’eau de la mer était chaude et nous avons passé une excellente semaine 🙂

Ce logement est exactement comme la description. Malheureusement la mauvaise température ne nous a pas permis de profiter des deux points forts du logement, soit la plage privé à quelques minutes de marche et la véranda.

Thank you Michelle for letting us stay in your beautiful place in Shediac! It was exactly as described and pictures, and more well stocked than any AirBnB I’ve ever been to. Michelle was so helpful before and during our stay, providing places to go, restaurants according to our tastes, and even an offer of a local babysitter should we want to go out without kiddos! Beds were comfy, cottage was beautiful and private, right on the water, as advertised. Kids loved searching for crabs on the beach and canoeing, although beach is better for boating and running around than swimming. Scenery is beautiful, campfire well stocked and well set up. Lots of BBQ tools available. Home is. 5min drive to downtown Shediac with lots of cute restaurants, and Shediac is within a reasonable drive to lots of lovely places (Hopewell Rocks, PEI, La Dune de Bouctouche, Parlee Beach, Moncton with the tidal bore and Magnetic Hill, etc.) Would recommend Michelle’s place without hesitation!

Paul was an exceptional host. This being my 1st experience, He was quick to reply & was even kind enough to help me with the lock pad, as I have never used one before. The place felt cozy & quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was easy to spot. Overall I would highly reccomend Paul's place to anyone visiting the area.

Our little family had a wonderful vacation at Danielle’s place. We loved the access to the beach and the beautiful view. The place was very spacious and we were very comfortable. Danielle was so kind, lending toys to our 3 year old, and spending a bit of time with him along with her grandson. We wish we had have had more time and hope to be back again!

Lorraine's place was impeccable and even more spacious than anticipated. I booked on short notice, my previous booking fell through less than 24h prior. We were able to get ready for my wedding without issue - 9 people between both floors. The washing machine and dryer worked well for small loads, perfect for travellers. Dishwasher was also handy, the kitchen was well equipped - margarine in the fridge works in a pinch. I found the extra keys by tea towards the end of our stay. Only difficulties were figuring out lock box (like realtor key box, the padlock stays on door, compartment stores key) and taking out our own garbage (no separation for wet trash). Overall great experience and highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about what a gem this cottage is! Everything you need and more in the house, comfy beds and couches, amazing neighbours, private beach, million dollar views, lots of privacy, great fire pit. Everything was absolutely perfect !! I rang in my 40th year on the ocean and I could not have asked for a better place to do so. Our 3 kids had the time of their lives too, so many great memories made :)

Our stay was wonderful at the cottage. Lynsey was a very kind and helpful host. The cottage was beautiful, clean and very well situated close to the beach and wharf. We had lots of room inside and outside of the cottage to relax when we were not off to the beach. The beds were very comfortable, the AC was great and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could need. We would love to stay here again at Lynsey’s fantastic cottage.

Nous avons passé une semaine à ce beau gîte mon conjoint, ma fille de 16 ans et son amoureux. Nous avons été charmés par l’endroit, la propreté et les commodités. Très bien équipé avec tout ce qu’on a besoin! Situé à quelques minutes seulement de marche d’une magnifique plage privée. J’ai pu admirer de beaux couchers de soleil. J’y retournerais sans hésiter!

Lovely cottage and very well equipped and kept. Cottage has a very nice peacefully view of the river. Dara & Harold are lovely people. We were there during winter. PEI weather can be a bit challenging but they were always checking in on us. Made us feel right at home!

From booking to checkout this was our best vacation yet! Could not beat the location, right on the ocean and so much beach to walk. Tide pools and fishing right out the back door...can't beat that. Wonderful views from the window and screen porch, comfy furnishings and interior beach decor. Our host was wonderful. Can't wait to go back. 2 weeks was not long enough. :)

Nice unit facing the eastern part of the bay. 2 minute drive to Hopewell Rocks. Wendy was very informative. Alma is a great location for restaurants in the area.
