The place was very bright, clean and equipped with great air conditioning, so perfect for the summer.☀️ Francesco is a great host. He picked us up from the airport and took us there and he drove us around the area for a whole day, we were on fantastic beaches and we had a good time with one or the other ice cream.😊 We also did not decline the offer to take a ride with him on the kite and it was a great experience.🌊 Overall, we liked it very much and we can only recommend the accommodation. We will be happy to come back.🤗

Quirico was a dream to communicate with and so nice the place is so close to the beach. Very peaceful

If you want to have a quiet vacation, this is the place to be. The surrounding area is very quiet and the beach right in front of the house is also not very busy. The beach bar is also great. The accommodation was very clean and all utensils, as well as basic spices, were also provided for cooking. Giuseppina was very friendly, always responded very quickly and was very helpful. We will definitely recommend this place and hopefully come back soon.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful apartment. We lacked nothing! The apartment was clean, very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Large cozy terrace to linger. Communication with Antonio was very good. No matter what issue, he helped right away. The beach in the immediate vicinity with a beautiful sea. We highly recommend this apartment. We really felt at home. Highly recommended. Thanks also to Antonio's parents, who welcomed us very warmly and helped us at any time if necessary.

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

Simona, Valentina, and her adorable son are wonderful hosts! The apartment is situated in a great location for visiting Tropea, Pizzo, Capo Vaticano and more. We were greeted with smiles and joy just lovely all around. Simona left us Prosecco, fruits from her garden, coffee and more. Isabella welcomed us to the Sàlaco farm, making us feel immediately at home, preparing great breakfasts and giving us exclusive tips on places to visit. The place is surrounded by nature on the hill and you don't need air conditioning at night because it's very cool. Highly recommended!

We are so glad we found this place to stay! It was perfect. The location was exactly what we needed - halfway between Pizzo and Tropea in a smallish village and the best thing - a two minute walk to a breathtaking beach that was so quiet (in May). The apartment itself was spacious, with a very generous terrace and it had everything we needed and more. Even containers to store leftovers in and an icepack to take picnics to the beach. Our children enjoyed the toys that were there for the apartment and the beach. The parking was easy. There was the most amazing beach bar/restaurant even closer which was sadly shut as we were there just before the season started. However, we will definitely be back when it is open. The host were so helpful and gave us the best recommendation for a pizzeria in Briatico - which was the best pizza we had all week. Check in and out was easy. Cannot wait to return - a bbq grill with a sea view - What more could you want!

This place is absolutely incredible! It exceeded our expectations! Simon was very responsive and gave clear instructions. The hosts were friendly and accommodating! The place was absolutely spotless and decorated with such impeccable taste. The views and sunsets from the terrace were absolute favourite thing. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool very very much. we also enjoyed our welcome package and it was a very nice touch. Tropea is a very short driving distance away and the town parghelia has lots of cute restaurants. A guidebook that Simon left was very thorough and informative and we loved all of the recommendations! We loved it so much we hope to return again very soon!

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at this Airbnb in Tropea, Italy! The unit was beautifully presented—clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen essentials to the cozy furnishings, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Photos do not do it justice. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the stunning beaches and charming streets of Tropea with ease. Only 10 minute walk to both. Noting also there are three supermarkets only 150 metres walk away. In particular Euro Spin a supermarket chain throughout Italy which has great food that you can cook at home or have something already cooked by them. A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts Giuseppe and Pola who were welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Definitely the best Air B n B we have stayed at and also better than some 5 star hotels. Highly recommended—we would definitely return! Tropea is well worth the visit.

A beautiful beachfront apartment, well equipped, with parking in a fenced area. At the beginning of May, I was temporarily alone on the beach, the best view of Pizzo and, with good visibility, you could see the outline of the volcanic island of Stromboli. Pizzo is a wonderful mountainside town, many winding alleys and at least seven ice cafes that claim to have invented the world-famous Tartuffo ice cream. (My tip: Gelateria Morino in the main square, I liked the "Vulcanetto" the best)

This was our first trip to this area and we hope to return. The location of Angelo’s place was an excellent base to explore the area. We enjoyed the beach below and did some snorkelling with lots of fish. We did not require much from Angelo while there but when we did he responded promptly and was very friendly. We would highly recommend Angelo’s place!

The apartment and location was better than expected. We had not been to Tropea before and did not have a good sense of the town layout. We were ideally located, a very short walk to the old town all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The apartment has wonderful large balcony that provides the best sunset view - why fight the crowds? Sunset aperitivo on the balcony was a highlight. Access to the station is also good, although it is a long walk with bags (15 min) - easy downhill from the station, more challenging heading up the hill. Lidia was a great host, provided very responsive help for checkin and was available and responsive throughout our short 4 day visit. The apartment is well set up with all the advertised amenities. One minor downside was that the apartment is opposite a popular bar that can be noisy until late. Fortunately the windows and apartment were quite well sound proofed. We had a wonderful stay in Tropea. Thank you Lidia for hosting us!

The stay was amazing. This is the first time I've met with such hospitality and willingness to help from the host. The apartment was perfectly equipped. There was literally everything you could need. The view from the huge terrace is wonderful. The beach is very close, which was almost empty in June, also very close was a restaurant with very good food and very nice service. I highly recommend it.

Rachael’s place was perfect , very clean and very well equipped with good quality furnishings and appliances and lots of essential bits and pieces in the pantry. A short walk to the piazza where there were lots of restaurants and great places for morning coffee and biscotti. The beach is a short walk and Tropea is just a train ride away and definitely worth a visit. The view from the balcony is so beautiful and peaceful … loved watching the swallows on their never ending quest for insects 😁 Rachael is an amazing host and always responsive … we had an issue with our train to Naples and she was so helpful. Thankyou Rachael for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment … we loved our quiet little village of Pizzo❤️

The apartment is finished in every detail. There is an air conditioner for the living area and one for the sleeping area. The fixtures are excellent and create perfect soundproofing. There are mosquito nets, a washing machine, a clothesline, and a terrace overlooking the sea that makes you fall in love. The kitchen has everything you need, in fact we cooked lunch and dinner for the whole week we stayed. Perfection does not exist, but this Airbnb needs an excellence that we have never encountered to lose the right to be considered perfect. We felt at home in contact with the sea that we love so much.

Luca is an excellent host, friendly and always ready to help! from the beginning he gave us a guide to all the sights. The apartment is as in the photos, it is fresh and when it is too hot it has portable air conditioning (it works well) it has a huge terrace! It has everything you need! Ricadi Station is 20 min on foot. Groticelli beach 5 min, Tropea 15 min (all by car) Everything was very beautiful, the beaches in general are wonderful and we will certainly repeat. Thanks Luca :)

The location of the apartment was wonderfully centrally located - right in the heart of Pizzo. We were in town over the Easter holidays and were thus able to follow the processions - even from the balcony of the apartment. Pizzo is a very nice place with great Italian flair and likeable inhabitants. The beach is also beautiful. The view of the sea is magnificent and everything was available. The kitchen is a separate space which is very practical. Once we had a problem with the window, Stefania was there right away. As compensation, she left us delicious pasticcini. She responded to our questions right away and was very helpful to us. At the beginning, she reserved a parking space for us. Thank you for the wonderful time in Pizzo.

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet area with a magnificent sunset that you can watch. Mary was wonderful and helpful!
