House vacation rentals in Riace

A beautiful house with great pool and a very nice view of the mountain and sea. Kitchen is super equipped. Using the coordinates and Googlemaps provided by Monica, we easily found the house. We arrived at night and the ride by car to the residential complex where the house is located was a bit adventurous as it rained the days before and also on our arrival and the surroundings were very dark. But everything worked out Communication with Monica was flawless and she was very helpful. Supermarket and restaurants are easily accessible by car within about 15 minutes. We enjoyed it, despite some bad luck with the weather. But after 3 days of rain, the weather became nicer and we were able to explore Calabria. We would come back.

Everything comes together for a great stay for families or groups of friends: -The villa is very spacious, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. - The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. - The private pool, the jacuzzi, the panoramic view of the mountainous countryside and the medieval castle of Squillace offer a cozy and relaxing setting. -The coast and the nearby beaches are very beautiful, typical restaurants. And Martina and Thomas, with their advice and kindness, will pay special attention to make this moment special for you.

Francesco is a great host. Present and thoughtful. The villa is simply a charm. Cleanliness, location, decor... everything exceptional! The view is also the distinctive element with wonderful views of the calanques and the Ionian that morning and evening awaits you just to be seen in the silence and peace that this place knows how to transmit to the end. The beautiful, panoramic pool immersed in a well-kept garden in every detail is a plus for those with children even if the Calabrian sea is in itself a natural pool and it is impossible to resist its wild beaches bathed by an unparalleled sea. This was an exceptional stay in Calabria for me and my family. The villa is exactly as it seems. It is likely the nicest AirBNB that one will ever find in Calabria. The staff is exceptionally helpful. Rino & Caterina were available 24/7 to help us, we had daily cleaning service, and Gianni was our driver at a moment's notice anywhere we wanted to go, from Soverato to Tropea. We had a birthday party for 50 of our extended cousins and it worked out perfectly. The extra costs we paid (use of the van, daily cleaning, driving, and pool heating) were extremely fair and reasonable. Biggest tips -- have the pool heated even in June, and have the ladies come for daily cleaning - truly made it feel like a 5 star resort. Davide deserves tremendous credit for building such a special place in such a beautiful place in Calabria.

The perfect location to be close to Tropea but also have privacy and peace. Luisa was very kind and was always available to answer our questions. The appartment was very clean and had everything we needed, the parking space was also very appreciated. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a peaceful space while also being close to the beaches.

We were guests of Mr. Francesco alla Formaggera for a week. La Formaggera is located in a unique place for the landscape that surrounds it and a little enchanted by the saturated atmosphere of history that you can breathe in it. The house is simple, but delightfully furnished; the kitchen is well organized and equipped with everything you need and you can have lunch and dinner outside, cool. Far from the chaos, you can rest in the shade of the pines, surrounded by prickly pears and Calabra nature. The beautiful pool and its covered patio, much appreciated on warm days, are certainly a strong point. The sea is close and in the nearest town there are supermarkets and many other shops including the excellent Lagani dairy and the nearby pastry shop. The village of Badolato, a few kilometers away, is worth visiting.

Antonio and his family are great hosts. The house is beautiful and the facilities are great. Whenever we contacted Antonio he responded within 10 minutes and he was very helpful with everything we asked about. This is a great place to stay.

This place is a gem!!! Includes an adorable home with multiple outdoor dining areas, pool (shared between a couple of villas), and a stunning private beach (down 400 steps but well worth it!). Our mixed age group (2 year old, 92 year old and 3 adults) absolutely loved it! Was a beautiful escape and felt like we were getting a taste of the region. We loved spending time at the pool and cooking in the kitchen. For those who may have trouble with stairs - one bedroom is ground floor, two are upstairs. It is only a few minutes drive from some great restaurants, and 20 minute drive to Tropea. Definitely recommend having a car if you stay here.

idyllic mountain village surrounded by friendly Italian people. in winter it can get cold in the house, even if the sun laughs in the morning surrounded by lemon trees. We've always had power outages. It was worth a trip. 🍋🌞🍊

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

Franco is great and friendly. 100% helpful. Good beds. The accommodation is close to the beach. Although we were here out of season, we experienced a lot and enjoyed the town and its surroundings.

Highly recommend. Large bedroom / office, great wifi, clean, safe, private, cleaning equipment. 5 minute walk into the center of the village.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Fortuna. It’s Right in the old city of Pizzo and close to the piazza and the beach. The kitchen was well-equipped and we didn’t miss anything! Paola was a perfect host and very welcoming and forthcoming!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Margherita! Louise and Lino are great hosts, we felt very comfortable and spent a wonderful week. The house is in a nice quiet environment, is very private and is located in a beautiful well-kept garden. The property is very spacious and very clean. The balcony offers a great view of the sea with fantastic sunsets. The possibility of parking the car in your own garage is worth its weight in gold - a perfect starting point for trips to the aperitivo in Tropea, the fishing village of Chianalea di Scilla or to Capo Vaticano with a wonderful view from the Strait of Messina to the Aeolian Islands. Most of the time, however, we simply spent in Pargehlia: The beach is fantastic and the family-run beach bar offers delicious lunch dishes. I spent close to 2 weeks recently at Laura’s place and I must say I found the home to be pleasantly immaculate in every way. The pictures she posted of the homes interior were just the way I found it upon my arrival. Everything was operational, modern, up to date, sanitary, convenient with the use of electronic keys, gate openers and WiFi; the place was obviously well kept. Although not absolutely necessary, a car is very helpful to get about for shopping and enjoying the nearby beaches as it is very pleasantly secluded and quiet. I hope everyone doesn’t rush out too often and too long to stay at this place, as I will be looking to come back for future visits if the home is available…thank you very much Laura!

Fantastic location, beautiful virtually private beach on the doorstep. A short drive from Tropea and local shops and restaurants. simple clean well equipes no frills accomodation.

Alina's place is beautiful and conveniently situated. The view from the patio ( and bathroom) is breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting outside taking in the surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much and fell in love with Badolato.

Large spaces, strategic location, minimal finishes and furnishings but with impeccable taste and cleanliness. As well as the relationship with the Host. We spent a fantastic week of tranquility, beautiful scenery and excellent food. We'll be back and highly recommend it. Thanks to Luigi and family

Warmest recommendation for Danilo's accommodation! The apartment is located in a charming village, about 15 minutes from the beaches. Especially practical: an excellent trattoria is located directly in the village and is easily accessible on foot. Danilo was always available, very flexible at check-in and welcomed us personally – a very friendly and attentive host!

SUPER RECOMMENDED! The house is beautiful and is just as seen in the photos. TOP cleanliness. It also has an indoor parking lot where you can leave your car. The place is in a strategic area, because it is in a quiet area within walking distance of the sea (you don't even need a car to get there) but also within walking distance of the center of Roccella. The guys who helped us to meet our needs were fantastic and responded immediately. Easy check-in and easy check-out.

Paolo, with Stefania's help, were impeccable guests. Kind and hospitable in their welcome, they provided us with accommodation in perfect condition, equipped with every kind of comfort. The house is located on a hill, a couple of kilometers from the main road network. It is essential to have a car to reach it. The reality is better than the photos! Unforgettable outdoor veranda where you can dine and spend time in serenity watching the sea. The interior spaces are spacious and well furnished. We felt right at home!

Villa Ulivo was a nice surprise for us! Small house but with everything and more! Great garden, washing machine and dishwasher. The best part was having AC in the rooms, then the possibility of fresh vegetables from Enrico's father's garden. And finally, the company of 2 nice dogs. A place worth checking out.
