I was fully satisfied with the accommodation and there is a nice and very quiet environment. You can also walk/hike there very well. And the communication with the host was easy and great. I'd love to come back.

A wonderfully quiet place, where there is plenty of space for you and who you are there. Extremely nice host, tells a lot about the house and if you want to do about the area also what to do. Together with my husband we spent 2 nights here. Definitely a place to remember.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views over Lake Baldeney. The house has everything you need for a good time in Essen, everything very high quality and even personal, which you can't find in every typical Airbnb. Throughout the house you can enjoy music in the best quality, for example through Spotify. Also, the house has a fully equipped modern kitchen with everything you need and even several fully automatic coffee machines. You can grill in the garden with a weaver or relax in your own house which has a heated hot tub and sauna. The hosts Clemens and Mr. Siegler are very friendly, extremely hospitable and are always easily accessible. No matter what I asked, everything was always done to make you feel comfortable. It was a great stay. I'm sure I'll be booking with Svenja often. The house was decorated great for Christmas and communication with Svenja was really excellent! I can only give an absolute recommendation. If you want to go to Moers, the bus stop is within walking distance, as is the center of Schwafheim with various shopping opportunities. And especially important for me, the AWO Seniorenzentrum is also only 4-5 minutes by walk.

This is a beautiful old home, full of family photos and personal items. Presented very well, extremely clean and Karin lives just next door, she is always smiling and friendly. It’s worth noting the curling’s are very low, my son who is nearly 6’ had a lot of head scrapes! The stairs are step too - this is because it’s an old house and part of the charm but worth considering if you prefer more space to move about. The fireplace on the listing isn’t available to use either which is a shame - but overall a wonderful location, big garden, and lovely big dining table. We really enjoyed it

This place is spacious, clean, has all the features you would need for a comfortable stay. We are a family of 4 and we felt very much ‘at home’. Sarah is very responsive and friendly. Thanks again for the treats :)

It is a nice apartment with beautiful views. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and the apartment has everything we need for our 3-day stay. Magnus is very helpful and always responds immediately to our questions. I can really recommend the apartment to everyone!

The place was modern and clean. The host was super responsive and nice. He helped us find a free parking lot. The space was homey. The toilet got clogged and overflowed but the host was on top of it and send someone to fix it right away. Would go there again.

We spent 6 nights in this wonderful cottage! Everything is thought out to the smallest detail: it has everything you need and more. Perfect cleanliness, cozy atmosphere, and a quiet, green location. If you like something different, yet with all the required amenities, this is the place for you. Situated in innercourt place, the apartment is huge and spacious. It has all the equipment you can think of and a large sauna in one of the bedrooms. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood, but with all the required grocery shops and restaurants in little walking distance. It is also just 30 minutes walk through a park to the old city of Dusseldorf. The host Daniel was very flexible and provided all the needed information well in advance, so that we had no trouble finding and opening the apartment. Beds were great, both large and comfortable. Also, the little terrace outside the main living room was very nice, as it is secluded and we were lucky to have a warm Dusseldorf evening.

Everything was nice. But the beds can be of higher quality, they are not comfortable and make noise.

Located on the edge of the forest, with a large lounge with a fireplace and views of ponds, meadows and forest, the Forest Lodge was an ideal place for us - 5 people with a dog - an ideal place for a reunion over the turn of the year. A nice place for a few days in quiet surroundings that invites you to walks, chats by the fireplace, reading at one of the large windows, cooking and eating together. Sincere thanks for the well thought out hospitality!

Stayed here with my company colleagues for Gamescom convention and it was spectacular. The house is beautiful and modern while retaining the charm of the German countryside. Easily accessible walking paths to the town and forest made this idea for us as we didn’t have a car.

Nice house and place

Markus is a great host and is highly recommended if you ever stay around Düsseldorf. The location is perfect for nature lovers and yet close to the City Center, airport and convention Center. Recommended without any hesitation.
