Beautiful location to stay and from which to strike into the Westfjord. Really appreciated his communication about snow and weather on the day before we travelled.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Guesthouse Nyp. We were met by welcoming faces and a very stylish interior, which felt like stepping into narnia after driving in the wet and dark for hours at the end of a long day. Our host Hubert instantly made us feel right at home with his kind and warm welcome, looking after us for the duration of our stay – it wouldn't have been the same without him. The surroundings were beautiful and we made sure to take our time in the morning to walk into the mountains and down to the beach before heading on our way. A wonderful experience, thank you.

Were stayed in Iceland for almost 3 weeks. This was our favorite place by far. Felt right at home, the farmhouse was well suited for our group, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the spectacular views and surroundings, walks, & saw my first Northern Lights here, it was magical. Also had fun playing ping pong in the barn. A great location for exploring the Westfjords.

Eydis est l’hôte la plus bienveillante et accueillante que j’ai pu avoir. Notre arrivée a été très perturbée à cause de la météo (vent violent et chutes de neige) , le papa d’Eydis nous attendait à la maison pour s’assurer de notre arrivée. La maison était parfaite, et très propre. Eydis a toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous a même proposé de rester une nuit supplémentaire sans frais à cause de la météo qui a empêché notre départ. J’espère avoir l’occasion de recroiser un jour votre chemin !

Le meilleur Airbnb que j'ai pu faire ! Tout est absolument parfait. La maison est magnifique et remplie d'histoire. Nous sommes isolé, seul au milieu de la nature dans un cadre relaxant. La maison est extrêmement propre, les lits sont confortables. L'hôte est très sympathique, les instruments concernant l'arrivée sont très faciles et bien indiqués. Il n'y a absolument aucun défaut, nous avons passé un super moment. Merci infiniment à l'hôte. Une pensée pour notre ami le chien. Je recommande fortement.

Ein Traum! Dieses kleine wunderschöne Café-Haus zu bewohnen war etwas ganz besonderes. Vom gemütlichen offenen Wohn-Essbereich hat man Blick auf das Wasser, in der Bucht sieht man (mit Fernglas) Wale und abends kam ein Seehund vorbeigeschwommen, dem wir einfach so zugucken konnten. Auch aus den oberen Zimmern hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Wasser. Im Haus ist alles und noch viel mehr, was man braucht, sogar ein Fernglas steht bereit, Fahrräder, Angeln, ein Schachbrett und viel mehr- Dinge, die wir gar nicht erwartet hatten. Auch hat dieses Haus eine Terrasse, das ist eher unüblich in der Gegend, man will gar nicht mehr das Haus verlassen, weil alles da ist. 2 Toiletten vorhanden, praktisch.Ein größerer Supermarkt in 5 Minuten Entfernung zu Fuß, ein kleiner Hafen mit einem tollen Familienunternehmen für Walbeobachtung (Achtung: nur online Anmeldungen möglich), ein kleines Café-Restaurant und die absolute Ruhe. Die Straße vor der Tür stört nicht. Auch bei Sturm super gemütlich.

Absolutely beautiful house in the country with amazing views. Hosts were very responsive and answer questions that we had before we arrived. House is very clean and the only neighbors were sheep lots to do in the area, including some amazing trails to run on. Thanks for such a great stay
