Wonderful property in Miramichi, absolutely worth it

Totally lived up to the descriptions, everything as great. Amazing kitchen and appliances, well appointed place. We were comfortable and happy from the moment we walked in. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second time staying. We loved it last year and loved it this year. Beds are comfy, everything is clean, beautiful views. The fire pit is an added bonus. Nadia is very friendly and replied quickly anytime we needed her. We would definitely stay again.

Réactivité et communication au rendez vous, chaque détail a été pensé, nous avons adoré notre séjour et y reviendrons avec un immense plaisir! Vous gâtez vos hôtes avec bienveillance. Ce lieu enchanteur est idéal pour se ressourcer et oublier le quotidien afin de recharger les batteries. Merci encore et soyez certains de nous revoir. Ps: une sieste dans le magnifique garage face au poêle à bois à même arrivé. Votre lieu est propice à une véritable détente. Nous nous sommes totalement sentis chez nous! À très bientôt

This space was perfect for our needs, very close to downtown, a great kitchen with lots of amenities and Haley had the hot tub ready for us at the beginning of March. Will be back if work takes us back to the region !

Très beau chalet. Nous y étions avec des amis; cela aurait également convenu parfaitement pour une famille. Bien équipé. Très propre. Belle douche. Le spa en hiver est un vrai plaisir. Il y a aussi un sauna que nous n'avons pas essayé. Les communications étaient aisées et agréables. Très beau séjour!

This is our third stay with Mike & Beth. The cottage was cozy & very clean. They provided everything we needed & so much more. The accommodations were spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee on the deck, exploring the scenic surroundings, or simply relaxing by the fire, every moment felt special. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into making this retreat such a wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Black Rapids Retreat to anyone looking for a perfect blend of nature and comfort. Can’t wait to visit again!

Katie's Family Lakeside Cottage is picturesque and serene, with all the modern amenities. Our group of 4 were up North on an extended family/hunting trip and this was the perfect basecamp set on beautiful St. Froid Lake and just outside of the North Maine Woods. Although, we didn't get a chance to utilize all of the features and amenities available...it has it all, along with maintaining a rustic charm. The bunkhouse with fireplace, porch, tv and vanity was a fun and cozy hang. If you're not familiar with this relatively remote area, Eagle Lake is 5-10 mins away with a little of anything you might need and Fort Kent, ME is roughly half an hour as well. Highly recommend!

Beth & Mike have definitely gone above and beyond with this place! It’s an absolute beauty with hidden gems in every corner. They even had the sweetest welcoming sign for us at the door, too cute! The beds were very comfortable, access to the ATV trail was very easy to find and I have to say the s’mores by the fire watching the boats go up and down topped it off for me!! Communication was always top notch and Mike & Beth will go the extra mile to help with anything! Much appreciated & again thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with us.
