How to choose a property type

Hosts offer all sorts of spaces on Airbnb, from apartments to yurts. Sharing the type of property you’re hosting helps guests decide whether your place meets their needs.

Select the option that best describes your place. Examples include:

• House
• Apartment
• Cabin
• Guesthouse
• Tiny home

Not sure? Choose the property type that’s closest to how you’d describe your place to someone who’s never been there before.

You can change your selection later if, say, some of your first guests tell you that your cabin feels more like a tiny home.
