Beachfront vacation rentals in Regional Municipality of Durham

We were 8 guys (with possible of more) coming to see a sick friend who is unfortunately nearing the end of life. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. The weekend was quite cold but the place was welcoming enough that we mostly stayed inside and caught up with old friends. Thank you so much for accommodating our group, you have a very special home!

We had a great time staying at Adam’s place. Private and peaceful! Great little beach of its own, where my kids (2 and 5) spent lots of time (we brought some sand toys). The views were beautiful, especially at the sunset. Michael was very responsive and helpful in accommodating our needs. We will come back in the future! :)

Really enjoyed our stay, lots of space and lovely view off the lake. It was a bit cold, even with the heating, but we were able to make a fire which helped. Only issue is that the dump is only open certain days, which would have been helpful to know, but we managed to find other places to take it. Also, there were some amenities like towels, soap etc already there which was helpful. local foodland only 10 min drive to get other stuff and loads of lovely local walks. We had a great time.

Hosts were amazing! The place exceeded my expectations. Minor things. People who wrote about noise it was minor footsteps, a fan on we could hear. We had a 5yr old kid who was equally noisy at times. I 100% recommend this place. Beautiful Marina, waterpark for kids and beach to walk. The best was how prepared this airbnb was. Everything you need in kitchen was there, extra towels for washroom showers, blankets, pillows, parking etc! Only surprise for my partner was that there was a connecting door to upstairs unit. Its locked and protected so safety wasn’t a concern. Thanks for an amazing couple days! The master bed was so comfy! We will be back!

Kristen's place was hands down the best airbnb I've ever stayed at. Definitely a recommended airbnb to relax from the busy city life. The place is huge and beautiful. Has tons of fun activities to do around the airbnb with ur friends and family. Kristen gave me an early check in as well to help me beat traffic although I still couldn't make it on time. She helped me with everything throughout my stay day and night, super responsive and guided me throughout my stay with everything. I would definitely come back but probably in the summer to enjoy the lake so guys book early!!!! ASAP!!!!

What a fabulous week that we have had here… My dog, Rockee and I love it … it’s our 3rd stay…..it feels like home! Thanks so much for everything. It’s such a warm and comfortable place, with everything you could want in a cottage and a home away from home. I love watching the sunrise from bed, drinking morning tea on the dock, taking the kayak out around the lake, coming back and chilling on the deck, then going for a float on the water, and then heading into town for the afternoon ice cream and watching the boats in the lock.

Amanda's place was a perfect stay for a quick night after getting home late from vacation. Place was clean and today and Amanda was responsive. Would stay again!

Great place to stay for a longer time like we needed. Frank was always very responsive. A good location as well, its not a long drive to shops and restaurants but the house itself is in a fairly quiet area. Would definitely stay here again if a need arises.

The trailer had everything we needed for a family vacation. The part of the trailer with the kids bunks was very spacious with a play area and there were toys and games for the kids to play with. The pool at the campground had two lifeguards at all times, which I was very happy with. The campground also had a small Beach with a lot of communal toys to share. Racheal was easy to get in touch with and responded very quickly. We really appreciated that she let us know ahead of time that there was an event at the campground for the kids on the day that we were arriving so that we could be prepared and enjoy it. We did a day trip to the Warsaw caves which I would definitely recommend!

Lovely place to stay that is very convenient to both restaurants and shops as well as History, a music venue that I attended a concert at. Easy checkin, Alisa had set everything up nicely in the compact but everything-I-needed room. Thanks for the hospitality!

We stayed for a week and it was a comfortable stay. The house is clean. The host is very thoughtful in accomodating the guests as throughout the house there were sticky notes with instructions. The house has all the necessary amenities, though we did not use the laundry and did no cooking but everything was there in case we needed it. The area is quite peaceful. Overall, we had a good experience.

It was a very spacious home with a lovely view. The kitchen was well equipped for the number of people with plenty of towels, cleaning products and nice to have a washer and dryer. It was clean and tidy when we arrived and the pictures described the space very well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dunraven Cottage! Ann was readily available and easy to communicate with. The indoor space had lots of room for our family to spread out in the evenings. We enjoyed many card games at the big kitchen table. We found the kitchen to be very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and the kids loved the loft room. Bobcaygeon was close by for any last minute groceries, a visit to the lift locks and/or a trip to Kawartha Dairy for an ice cream cone! The lake is quite shallow and weedy so to comfortably swim (as adults) we needed to paddle out a ways to jump in. The area in front of the cottage is clear of weeds and was fun for the kids to swim around in. We thank Ann and Paul for their hospitality and would recommend this place to others.

We had a very quick stay but the place was so cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Adem is a wonderful host and has a comfortable home! I couldn’t locate the frying pan (my mistake) and he came over himself with a new pan plus helped me locate the one that was there! He even brought me some cleaning spray that I requested. He was very polite and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The place is close to Ajax where our relatives live, so it was a convenient location for us, and close enough to downtown to visit our friends. It’s five minutes away from the GO train station so we were able to easily get downtown both with (35 minutes) and without a car (47 minutes). I definitely recommend Adem as a host and his place. I hope to come back again. Thanks again.

First off! Gorgeous apartment. Patricia was fantastic, super easy to contact and was very responsive. She went above and beyond to make sure there were some snacks for me upon arrival, which was very appreciated. Sharing the same field of work Patricia and I engaged in a pleasant conversation about our field of work and established mutual respect for one another. Her and her adult children also live in the home, but you cannot hear them while they’re upstairs allowing you to have a peaceful stay, laundry on site, gorgeous bathroom and water pressure was fantastic. Coming back to this area later in the year and will definitely keep her in mind! Thank you Patricia!
