Vacation rentals with beach access in Reggio Calabria

Where do I start! This has to be one of the best Airbnb we have stayed in anywhere in the world and fitted our needs perfectly. Firstly, we had the warmest welcome from Marisca who showed us around, gave us a fab recommendations for dinner & together with Carmelo, proved to be the perfect hosts who felt like real friends by the time we left. The apartment is stylishly presented, spotlessly clean, has quality appliances & bedding, smells gorgeous, is so comfortable, quiet & private with a sensational balcony! It’s spacious, covered and has the most magical view across to Sicily. The weather wasn’t especially kind to us but we didn’t care as it was so beautiful and peace just watching the waves away from the hustle & bustle though Reggio Calabria is only a short drive away. Marisca & Carmelo are the most wonderful people, made us feel so welcome & we can’t thank them enough for their generous hospitality. This was the highlight of our holiday and we’d love to return.

L’appartamento era ancora più bello che in foto, molto grande, pulito e nuovissimo. La posizione, proprio di fronte il mare, comodissima. Nelle vicinanze numerosi bar e ristoranti. Gabriele è stato un host estremamente disponibile e gentile, subito a disposizione per ogni esigenza o suggerimento. Assolutamente consigliato, torneremo volentieri!

Abbiamo apprezzato molto l'appartamento: spazioso, luminoso, molto pulito, curato e tranquillo, e l’ampia terrazza, fornita di tavolo, sedie e tre sdraio. Inoltre, la posizione è assolutamente unica, direttamente sul mare! Il lungomare, il centro con diversi ristoranti e la stazione dei treni sono raggiungibili velocemente a piedi. Inoltre, in pochi minuti d'auto è possibile raggiungere un fornitissimo supermercato. Paola è stata molto gentile, ci ha fatto trovare diversi generi alimentari di prima necessità ed è stata prontissima nel rispondere ad ogni tipo di richiesta. Davvero un soggiorno indimenticabile, grazie!

Das Appartement habe ich wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Kücheneinrichtung (Tassen, Teller, Gläser usw.) alles ist vorhanden. Und alles ist sehr sauber. Im Kühlschrank und auf dem Tisch waren sogar einige Lebensmittel / Kaffee / Tee vorhanden, weil man als Anreisender meistens ja nichts eingekauft hat. Ein toller Service. Die kleine Gasse wird von Google nicht korrekt angezeigt. Und weil sie so schmal ist, läuft man schon mal vorbei. Einfach die Augen offen halten. Der kostenlose Parkplatz am zentralen Platz ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Der Supermarkt und der Frischemarkt sind in der Nähe, zudem ist an einigen Tagen auf dem zentralen Platz ein Wochenmarkt. Zum Strand kommt man zu Fuß über mehrere Treppen oder per Aufzug. Der Unterschied vom Strand zum Marktplatz entspricht einem 12-stöckigen Hochhaus. Danke an Chiara für dieses Appartement.

Loved the location and the quaint apartment. We would have given it 5 stars but ac and water took a star away. The municipality had water restrictions on the town which was an issue. It meant that they only provided water between 7am-10am 3:30-7pm. We ran out of water 2x’s, one day completely. The town didn’t provide water that day! We used the bathroom of a local business that must of had a big enough water tank and showered/rinsed off at the beach club showers outside. It was August, it was hot and one small room didn’t have air conditioning. So we pulled the mattress into our room from the couch and I moved into my sister’s room so that we could all sleep in air conditioning. Marco and Lilli were very helpful and quick to respond. I would go back even though we had these situations. Next time- I will use my empty water bottles to store extra water! (Maybe that should be in the notes! ) I love Scilla!

La struttura di Filippo è stata da subito accogliente e dotata di tutto il necessario. Ben oltre le aspettative visto il costo. Abbiamo avuto a disposizione qualsiasi cosa si potesse chiedere da una casa al mare. Posizione estremamente comoda, vicinissima al mare e alla stazione ferroviaria di Scilla. Filippo è una persona che ti fa sentire a tuo agio, pronto a dare consigli sul territorio e tanto altro. Consigliato per una vacanza di relax sulla Costa Viola.

Domus Austria is a cozy little house on the seafront in a quiet area of ​​Messina and has the most beautiful sunset in the world! Communication with the host is perfect and check in was very smooth with the help of Maria Rita, the friendliness in person. I would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy the beach better and sleep listening to the noise of the sea more nights.

Great place for 4 adults and several children. Walk to restaurants and stroll along the seaside . Have a car to visit the surrounding area.

Die Unterkunft war sehr praktisch und es hatte immer einen freien Parkplatz vor der Tür. Alles ist auch zu Fuss erreichbar im Dorf (Supermarkt, Bar, Meer)

Velký dům, chtěli jsme ubytování mezi místními lidmi, což se nám splnilo, sousedé jsou velmi milí, všichni okolo mají zahrady , dostali jsme od nich spoustu výborných citrusů. V městěčku se nachází spousta kaváren, barů a obchodů, které jsou otevřeny i přes zimu. Koupíte si tu vše, co potřebujete, nemusíte jezdit do většího města. Rádi se vrátíme, když budeme moci.

We kregen een bijzonder hartelijk welkom in het heerlijke huis direct aan het strand. Vrienden van Enzo stonden klaar met uitgebreide informatie en een lekkere fles rosé (dank Ewa en Salvatore!). De supermarkt en een geweldige koffiebar zijn op loopafstand. Het huis is niet bijzonder luxe ingericht maar daar ben je niet vaak. Op het strand, op het balkon of onder het huis in de schaduw is het erg fijn! De airco in iedere kamer werkt uitstekend. De trein komt een paar keer per uur dicht langs het huis, maar 's nachts rijdt hij niet. Dan is het lekker rustig. Wij bevelen het huis zeker aan!

Graziella and Antonio are very welcoming and responsive and made us feel like family. Graziella greeted us and gave us a thorough tour of the house and the grounds. The Villa is well equipped and spacious with a stunning view of the Strait of Messina and Sicily. The Villa is located minutes from the city of Reggio and easy access to other towns in the region. We had an amazing time and hope to return one day.

The view is amazing! Albi was a great host and breakfast was a nice treat.

Az apartman a tengerhez nagyon közel helyezkedik el. A nagyobbik teraszról remek kilátás nyílik a tengerre és a napfelkeltére, a kisebbikről pedig a csodás hegyekre. Andrea tűpontos leírásával egyszerű volt az apartmanhoz tartozó fedett, kamerával és mozgásérzékelővel felszerelt privát parkolóhely és a kulcsszekrény megtalálása. Az apartman a legfelső emeleten van. Az épületben lift üzemel a garázstól felfelé, de egy emeletnyit így is lépcsőzni kell. De megéri. A leírásában szereplő képek jól bemutatják a családias hangulatot. Mivel a szobák és a konyha felszereltsége is teljes, ezért akár hosszabb időre is javasolhatónak tartom az ottartózkodást. A konyha elhelyezkedése és hangulata igazán különleges. A környék csendes a főszezonon kívül (nem tudom milyen nyáron), de a boltok, a remek éttermek, kávézók és cukrászdák ilyenkor is rendesen üzemelnek. Andrea nagyon kedves, segítőkész házigazda. Szívesen visszamennénk a lakásába. Köszönjük szépen a lehetőséget.

Carlo is a very friendly and welcoming host. The apartment is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. We slept incredibly well from the first night - the waves are right below the apartment, exactly as described. We were very happy with our stay, and sad to leave. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im AirBnB. Der Check-In und check out war sehr flexibel, da wir nachts ankamen und auch nachts wieder gegangen sind. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Ausstattung entsprechend der Beschreibung. Das WLAN hätte bessere Verbindung haben können, aber ansonsten hat alles gepasst :)

Tutto perfetto, il rapporto qualita' costo era ottimo. Va detto pero' che la zona in estate e' sicuramente piu' viva, ci sono alcuni lidi che avevano gia' chiuso il 15 settembre. In generale l'area non e' delle migliori, marciapiedi malridotti, molte strutture abbandonate, centro citta' lontano (1h con gli autobus). La casa dispone di un salone ed un terrazzo vista mare bellissimi. Arredamento mediamente buono, anche se qualche dettaglio andrebbe rivisto (probabilmente). Ma, ripeto, tutto ottimo, soprattutto la disonibilita' e la gentilezza degli host.

This apartment has a spacious seaside balcony, with direct access to the beach. The apartment is clean, and the washing machine is a plus. Francesco maintains excellent communication, and is a good man.

Wir konnten direkt vor der Haustür kostenfrei parken. Uns erwartete eine Wohnung im typisch italienischen Flair. Wir konnten wunderbar in absoluter Ruhe schlafen. Die direkte Strand- und Stadtnähe hat uns sehr gefallen Die Wohnung ist nicht neu, aber der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für viele Aktivitäten. Wir würden wieder gerne hierher zurückkommen.
