We stayed at Abby’s Retreat for a birthday getaway celebration and it was the perfect place to stay! Clean, roomy, well thought out floor plan, comfortable, amazing linens, modern and updated rooms and all the extras you want when staying away from home…..to name a few! The fire pit area is so cute and I love how there is firewood beautifully set out for you. The coffee station with everything you need is such a treat in the morning 😊 Then to top off our stay, we walked in to find a completely unexpected birthday gift! It was honestly so thoughtful and made my day 🥰 Thank you so much and we will definitely stay next time we are in Medicine Hat!

The house has the most incredible views over the lake. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sunset and listening to the birds. The beds were incredibly comfortable probably the best we have slept on in an airbnb! The place was spotless and very well stocked. Bill was really responsive to our questions and a great host.

Great stay for our family, lots of room with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs. Both upstairs and downstairs had rooms with couches to watch TV. Large deck so we could sit outside and my daughter and niece enjoyed using the hot tub. Would definitely stay there again and thanks for letting us stay. Carol

We were blown away by how cute the house was! We absolutely loved all the little details in the space that celebrated the history and community of Medicine Hat. As a fellow antique lover, I very much enjoyed looking at the collection in the house. We also appreciated how stocked the kitchen was! We could make a four course meal without hesitation. It definitely felt like a home away from home! Mel was lovely to communicate with and we will definitely be making a trip back! Thank you so much!

Mel and Colleen were great hosts. communicated with us during every stage of the booking, arrival, and check in process. They then went the extra mile to check in with us during our stay to ensure all of our needs were being met. Very accommodating! The suite was an awesome space that really met our needs. This place is in a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to many amenities. The house is new and modern, nicely furnished, well appointed and homey. We were turned away by the cleaners when we arrived and told to come back in an hour. The towels were washed and folded in the laundry room but not sufficiently dried. There were no paper towels or kleenex and there was no coffee for the coffee machine. The beds were comfortable and the house was nice and clean. We were comfortable there, would stay there again and would highly recommend it.

A great little cabin just a stone's throw from the Interprovincial Park and ski area (Hidden Valley). Excellent Hosts were responsive. We were there for a few days skiing in blustery weather. Both Hosts were out clearing the driveway daily, when required. Comfortable beds and well-stocked kitchen. Private, clean and quiet. Starlit nights were amazing. The lovely indoor wood-burning stove was great in -30C temps. It would be a fantastic place in summer - close and affordable. The advice about having a 4-wheel drive vehicle in winter should be heeded - the drifts were crazy. I would recommend this spot in any season and would come here again in future.

We had a great stay! This “comfort camping” cabin perfectly suited our needs. The grounds are beautiful, spacious and private, and made for a very relaxing getaway. Special shout-out to Julie and Wayne who live on-site and manage the property. They were so welcoming and helpful, and even made sure we knew about fun events happening in the community during our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

The Stable was the perfect spot for my lil pup and me during our visit to Med Hat :) A cozy set up with all the things you could need for a relaxing stay - a well stocked kitchen with lots of light, master bedroom with screened veranda (where I enjoyed my morning tea) and a fenced in yard with seating. Everything was clean and tidy. Gary met us upon arrival and showed us the accommodations, and provided recommendations of the surrounding area. Gary/Deb were easy to reach and responded quickly, great hosts for sure! (The stairs are a bit steep for those that may be mobility challenged, just something to note if that does impact you)

A spacious living area is furnished with a large black couch and a separate black armchair. A decorative pillow is positioned on the couch. The room features light-colored wooden flooring and is illuminated by natural light from a nearby window.

Aaron was nothing short of an amazing host ! Very responsive and more than accommodating. The place was perfectly located with lots of amenities within walking distance and everything else within a short drive . The place itself is very spacious and comfortable. We spent about a month there and it literally just felt like a home away from home ! Thanks for the fantastic stay !

Excellent stay for our family of 4. Very well appointed unit with everything you need. Location is good and if staying with small children the park right across the street would be lots of fun (our 15 YOs enjoyed popping over for a play). Host was responsive. We'd certainly stay again!
