Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Real County

Beautiful home and beautiful scenery! Very peaceful and the home was very well furnished. We loved the back porch view of the river and spent hours out there as a family talking and playing games. We could let our dog wander with us without worrying as Edwina had considered everything and there was a gate we could close to keep her safely with us. Lots of great space and we had everything we could think of plus extras! It’s a great stay and we can’t wait to go back!

Vera and her Dad Mark were wonderful. Mark was very attentive and made sure we were able to find the house, made sure we know the best places to get in the river, and guided us to different local restaurants and float locations. I will definitely be staying here again. It was great!

Lovely and private location on the Frio. The home has a wonderful floorplan featuring two living spaces. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms, living area, large dining area and elevated outdoor patio that gets a nice breeze in the evening. The downstairs has a bedroom but an additional 3 futon that the kids enjoyed sleeping on and a full bathroom. The downstairs area also has a large covered patio area. The home has a well stocked kitchen, is very close to restaurants, stores & Garner State Park. We will definitely stay here again. Temple was quick to reply and very helpful with questions I had. The coffee maker has both drip and pod options. There is not a dishwasher so you will need tonhandeash dishes. We got paper plates to make it easier when our group was larger. There are several stores in the area for groceries but I recommend getting most before you get to Leakey as they will be cheaper.

Amazing place!

I can’t even begin to describe how scenic just the ride to the house was absolutely mesmerizing. The view from the house was simply a dream! The house was clean and we enjoyed our stay so much we’re already planning on returning soon! The hosts were amazing on communication!

This place was the perfect for my big family, with plenty of space plus the walk to the water was a nice distance to not feel overwhelmed from a long walk. the staircase to get into the water could use more railing to feel safer going in and out of the water but not unsafe & very secure. other then that I would say we had an amazing time! Definitely a rebook!

Beautiful, quiet river getaway! Loved the place and the area. Host was amazing and super helpful! Birdwatching was a bonus.

we Had An GREAT time at Desara's, She was Very Responsive and Sweet❤️ Very Clean place had Everything we needed...Loved her backyard and the flowers..Will be staying for sure again next time we go down.

Great location! Updated , fresh cabins, clean and well-taken care of. Fabulous pool to splash in after a morning of biking.

Great place to stay. The water was real low and we could not tube but we found some water close by to just hang out and had a great time. We would definitely stay there again. The pool was nice and not crowded.

We left our home after Hurricane Beryl and no electricity Kelli was very helpful in letting us check in early. We almost didn’t make the trip and she was already asking us about changing dates. Highly recommend staying here or other places Kelli has

Veronica's Frio River House was excellent. First, it was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was spacious, lovely, well-laid-out, with plenty of kitchen items for cooking ... wonderful. Veronica had thought of everything and provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. The interaction with the host was quick, thorough, accommodating, and cheerful. Renters should note that all the rentals in the area require you to bring your linens, so don't be caught unaware. I add this not as a complaint but just as a reminder to renters, as reading a review was how I noted this!

House is in a great location, secluded, and beautiful! Very spacious, great for big families, and clean inside as well. I would definitely book again for my next river trip!

Veronica is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Best Host we've experienced by far. The house was amazing. Very beautiful. Definitely recommend. Definitely staying at one of Veronicas properties next time we go out there. A++

Loved LOVED staying here! We did not want to leave. Mona Lois was so kind and responsive! I’m so thankful to have her as our host. The home was so beautiful and even more roomy than what I anticipated. Beds were comfortable, linens were provided-even towels. We are already planning a second trip so that we can stay here again. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful place to stay! A true gem!

Perfect Getaway Spot! A few of us from SpaceX stayed at Bet’s Airbnb for a relaxing getaway, and it was exactly what we needed! The place was cozy, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind.
