ABC acres' Guest House - a Montana Farm Stay

ABC acres is a permaculture farm in the Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana. Sustainable food production, healthy living systems, and ecological design is what we are all about. Our chickens, goats, and newly buzzing honeybee populations are out on open pasture, eating, resting, pollinating, and living the way nature intended. Lost Trail Powder House (entire cabin)

The Lost Trail Powder House is a cozy, two-level cabin located just off Highway 93, about a mile south of the small community of Gibbonsville, ID. This property provides excellent access to winter recreation opportunities: just 15 miles away, Lost Trail Ski Area and Chief Joseph Pass offer great and affordable downhill skiing, groomed nordic trails, and snowmobiling. The nearby Salmon and North Fork Salmon River drainages are home to some of the best hunting and fishing in the northwest.

The Cottage at Farmstead Hollow

The Cottage is a delightful retreat in the foothills of the gorgeous Bitterroot Mountains, 2 miles outside of Hamilton, Montana. We are a family of four living the good life on our small working farm and The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.

You’ll love my place because of the rustic feel of a large log home in the woods. The views off the back deck are spectacular. Wildlife sightings are abundant. Come and unplug. Cell phone coverage is good and the house does have wifi The house is located on a gravel road about 1 mile off the paved road. 4WD would be helpful in the winter. Approx. 30 minutes to Lost Trail Ski Resort. Can hike right outside the house. Good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.
