Absolutely wonderful , place was clean and well equipped. Host is very helpful and responsive to all queries in a very pleasant time manner . Highly recommend and definitely will stay here again depending on availability!

Wow! What an incredible place! We had such a wonderful time here. So peaceful and immersed in the wonderful Latvian countryside. The farmhouse is beautiful and feels like going back in time, whilst also having all the things you need in 2024 including wifi and bluetooth speakers and cinema (useful for the kids on the rainy days!) We all spent lots of time on or by the lake and the surrounding fields and forests. Another highlight was of course Bono the dog, such a lovely character. We enjoyed our stay so much and Rihards was always very helpful and responsive. We hope to return again in future.

Yes, the accommodation is actually the converted attic of an old barn. Everything was made with a lot of love and for those who cope with the simple amenities, it's a paradise. If you're looking for luxury, don't go here. If you are looking for a very unusual place to stay that is simple but clean and really very, very original – this is the place! We enjoyed it extremely well! Many thanks for this.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved it! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need- and more! From charcoal and all the grill tools, logs for the hot tube and sauna, to a great coffee machine and thoughtful touches throughout. The terrace was super cozy, surrounded by lush greenery, with plenty of different types of swings and places to unwind. At night, the starry sky was magical. It’s ideal for 3-5 people with plenty of space and clearly lots of love and care from the owners, both inside and out. The host even left us some sweet, delicious surprises that made us feel truly welcomed. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, making the most of the house and garden.Time flew by, and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We would love to come back again someday. Thank you for everything! Very pleasant stay. There was everything we could have wanted in the kitchen, fully equipped bathroom and sauna, comfy beds. We also enjoyed the grill and the outdoor seating area.

The apartment is very nice, modernly furnished. It has everything you need for a short stay in Valmiera.

Simonas place is cosy and with lot of attention to detail with wood features aspecially and we enjoyed the hot tub aswell. Would definatelly recomend.
